1942 when it first released! Favorite maps back then were Battle of Britain for the air combat, Operation Battleaxe for the sniping, and Kursk for tanks. Usually would load up the Secret Weapons expansion when I wanted to do ground combat. Road to Rome was fun as well, especially the Anzio map.

Bf3 and bf4 are both nuts with the graphics. On PC especially. Consoles they are starting to look slightly dated but not to the point of looking “dated” yet.

Battlefield 2 on PC was something. Look at all those classes. This is why when people complain about there not being the classic 4 classes in 2042 I scratch my head. So many BF games had 3-6 different classes. Really wish a LOT of these older maps would make their way to Portal. So many classic experiences. Not everything needs to be 64v64 maps.

Bf2 was awesome. Last best in the series. Great classes, great maps, etc and the company didn’t nickel and dime you with stupid “season passes”

Watching these games makes me appreciate Battlefield 1942 even more!

Still the best of the bunch, the best units IMHO anything you played felt worthwhile. Watching this I can remember playing them all for way less time than the BF42, think I quit at 3, just was no fun anymore. was odd watching it as I remembered playing some I had long forgotten even existied..

For me, Battlefield 1 is the best of them all. The atmosphere, the grind, the chaos, sad that the magic kinda disappeared after they went on with V and 2042...

in my opinion BF died in 3 and only came back later in Bf1 and died again now, I hope that now the head of BF revives the series, the boss returned the head of BF3, BF4 and BF

Never played BF Vietnam is it pretty good? Might have to check it out.

Cool to see both campaign and multiplayer modes, the attention to details are just insane

Man the sound effects on BF were amazing. Loved BF2,3,4

Man I played 1942 and all its expansions (still have the disks) more then any other game at the time, for the longest time. I loved the trick my buddy and I used to do on the CTF Maps. Grab a Stuka,...fly over the enemy base, he bails out and grabs the flag, all the while I am swinging around for the pick up. Flying low enough and having him hit the enter button would allow him to jump back into the plane while I was zooming by.

BF 2002 was my childhood. Such memories 😂

A remake of Vietnam would be great. Also BFBC2 was great. That Gol sniper!

Battlefield 2 will always be my favorite. I did thoroughly enjoy 3 and 1 though too.

The transition from bad company 2 to BF3 was just unreal. Easily the best fps of all time

Bad Company 1 went so hard and still looks good. Also, I love the 3D maps.

BF 3 and 4 was the peak of the franchise. Never reached its level again. Hope BF 7 is going be close to it

The jump from 1942 to Vietnam was mindblowing to kid me.

I remember playing the Battlefield 2 AIX mod. Probably my favorite Battlefield mod of all time.

For me, Battlefield 1 , it's just amazing how it still looks , how is so much better than bf v and the las one. The audio , the caos , the graphics, the details, everything it's just perfect. It's really terrible to se the last Battlefield, hoping they come back with some thing better

I need to add there was a submarine in BF1942, in Vietnam you could winch up tanks with helis... Bf 2142 had a mode where people had to disable the other team's titan ( a huge ship) before boarding it using individual launch pods while the crew defended the corridors like in the first star wars movie...

Insane, unbelievable and unprecedented leap from BF Heroes and 1943 to unparalleled BF BC2. BF BC2 is the best, then BF4 and BF3.

BF1942 -demo was the earliest I played Favorite is close w BF2. Anticipation in 2005 was crazy. Was worth it. Only gripe was weapons grind, dolphin diving and no Navy 😭

I played BF2 soooooo frigging much ...specially Strike at Karkand. It was awesome.

I just found out I was playing the first battlefield for so much time.

BF2 and 2142 were my battlefield days with a little comeback with BF4 and Hardline Heroes was... well... a mobile game before mobiles were really a thing I guess? could work today...

I'll never forget these days. I was 14 in 2010 and after me and my buddies played the entirety of the Bad Company 2 beta we were sold. Got it day one. That and BF1 are tied for my favorite.

Battlefield 2 and Battlefield Heroes are the games that scared every soul when they were discontinued.

The Battlefield 4 DLC "Final Stand" was a prequel to 2142, featuring the hover tank prototype, the rail gun, drop pods and maps where they were building the titans and mechs.

I can’t believe that BF2 was released only one year after Vietnam, while Vietnam was released two years after the first one. It must’ve been a separate team working on each of them or they just waited with the release, but it looks almost identical with 1942, while the jump to BF2 is much bigger.

I think they made a big mistake to stop Battlefield Heroes, that game had a lot of potential and I think it would have been a much better game than today's fortnite.
