@@Allmotorzl1 elden Ring, God of War, and various others are good games. But they're still secondary to Warzone, Apex, Fortnite, Minecraft, Valorant, FFX1V, LOL, DOTA, TF2, CSGO. But they are getting better. I've been crushing some Bannerlord, and Assassin's creed Valhalla lately, so those games still have my love. But they're definitely not the priority at the moment, and developer's are looking for quick micro transactions for immediate and consistent paydays.

This was the first ever video game I played as a kid, and I played it on the Playstation 2. The nostalgia is REAL

Lord I remember how ludicrously hard some of these missions could be. But very fun to play overall.

I remember one level, I never got past it as I was just raging with it. I switched to the online mode and never looked back. Went out and bought me the USB headset.

This game is amazing, I had it on PS2. This together with Black was the shit.

This game was so good. The hot swap feature blew my mind and nothing can beat that feeling you get when hearing 10 stars click over at the end of the game. Memories

I've never seen this game again they're should remastered this for PS4/5 and PC

God this was the start for my love for Battlefield. Such an awesome game.

Fun fact : Lt Scott was voiced by the same guy who voicing Cabbie from Planes : Fires and Rescue

I had the amazing privilege of playing this game on PS2 when I was like 10 years old or something and my god the game still holds up amazing to this day

I played this game about 10 years ago, and boy, I could swear it was all in 4k. I remember only fragments, but they were all so vivid. Good times

The feature is called Hotspotting, I wish this mechanic is brought back to more modern shooters, I love the feeling of just staring off towards a fellow soldier and watch as the camera flies towards him, making me take control of him, even better when hotspotting to helicopter pilots in the air and back to soldiers on the ground far away, allowing you to travel across the big open maps the game has in very short instances.

"There's no way people will ever understand what you did for the world... or say thanks". Ah yes I get this feeling every time I drop 3hrs into playing a video game too.

Yeah BF2042 is not as fun as the online of this game. You cant even communicate with anyone with a mic.

I only remembered the last mission, it was super hard and when you failed you had this message like "we failed to stop the rocket launch, call your family before its too late" and it was heart breaking for my 12yo me

Love this game battlefield 2 modern combat was my 1st battlefield game

this is the game what ihve been searching for a long time. What a freaking memorable game. Nostalgia

Bridge too far, backstab and deadly pass were some people of my favorite mp maps of all time. That and the campaign was crazy fun being able to switch players on the fly. Used to love going from a gunner to a chopper to a sniper and so on. Please do a remake

I can remember taking the tank out of the US base on backstab and killing the MEC helicopter and hearing the grown/moan of the player in the headset.

Omg this is so nostalgic , i was 6 or 7 and every day i played this and because it didn’t have savings i had to play from the beginning, this video took me 16 years back

I wish more games single player utilized this system more. Like how you can switch between classes instantly through the battlefield. I don't think it's been used much at all. Also awesome hearing Captain Dale Dye voice in these 2000s war games

At first, the main (fictional) conflict was the chinese interference on kazakhstan business of selling oil to the west, wich would make both china and the US to begun making diplomatic talks in the heat of the situation in kazakh territory (Right when china had already mobilized most of the middle east and the PLA to invade kazakhstan, and for some reason the U.S were absolutely ok with china sending shit-ass tons of troops to eastern kazakhstan, waiting for the war actually broke up to send the marines and the army, which is one of the main reasons why we only see russian vehicles in the beginning of the campaign), that would lead to an terrorist group called The Burning Flag to conduct an helicopter assault on the building the diplomatic talks werebeing hosted, thereby making both China and the US blame each other for the incident and begun an all out war, with several skirmishes happening between the US, China and TBF troughout the game(Only the EU and Russia were operating there with some logistical support from america so far). By the end of the campaign, one of the sides (You can choose the Nato or Chinese side) discover about the intentions of the TBF of world domination by launching 3 nuclear warheads on each of the alliances mainland soil (US, Europe and China) triggering an chain reaction that would begun a nuclear war and then, Commander 31 (the leader of the group) would come from the ashes of the fallout to reclaim the world and desistabilize the surviving countries (Crazy shit), so basically NATO and Russia or China find this out and after disabling those 3 nukes the situation would be exposed to public and the world would be at one piece again... The first Battlefield I played was this, I fell in love with this game, in my childhood I played it every day.

My first ever Battlefield game to play on PS2, and people won't believe that I was continuously staring at the screen while my city was in real war back then when I was 10 in 2011. NATO jets were flying off my city "The city of Misrata, Libya" in the 2011 war and I was playing this game, Man the game was so difficult for me esp. the mission with the Hind was.

That was my first online game, still have it around along with my PS2. Unfortunately i sold most of my old games like a fool for some quick cash but that one is one of these i could not let go.

I remember playing this game on the original Xbox when I was like 6 brought back a lot of nostalgia

It looks very different and more detailed than the ps2 version... in ps2... your combo boost bar are or the circle ofthe map... the health bar are on the right-down of the screen... the armor HP bar are on the top of Health bar... The ammo and selection weapon are on the left-down of the screen.... also in the ps2 versiob... if you shoot the car... there will be ni radgoll effect... and the map on the loading are just 2d map... not 3d like that... just like satellite map... the tank and other stuff like the textures of the map... explosion effect, etc are not detailed so much... Some trick : You can disable the parachute and enable it again when you near the land if you want a fast landing... in the last mission that about nuclear silo... in the first of the mission... chane your character to engineer... there will be a vehicle gonna shoot you when you are landing... so before he vehicle pass you and make so much death... use the first trick(fast landing) using engineer and plant a mine bomb in the road... so before the vehicle pass your dudes and shoot a deadly gun... go land and put a landmine... Idk this can be used on pc or not but never use parachute when you are not near the ground... use parachute in 50m or 100m... if above that... disable parachute... it only slowing you... it will not giving falling damage if you good on the timings Also idont think the ps2 version is such a downgrade... even if the graphic and the texture quality was downgraded and the gameplay was so hard... but if you veteran on playing fps games in ps2... i think it will be more fun than playing in the pc version... as you know... the ps2 version is full of bug... i still remember the bug on mission that raiding a beach with a bunch of support and engineer using a ship(idk the name of the mission)... this mission are the sequel of "big bang" mission... so first you will be attacked by tanks and 4 machine gun... after you taking cover on the little wall below the machine gunner... use engineer and shoot the machine gunner without moving... you will be unnoticed by the machine gunner(pls note a infantry will come to your place so take care of them too if you want to shoot the machine gunner)... My fav role was assaut since it have launcher gun... i love it when i already got invincible boost, infinite ammo, fast reload, and explosion round(unlocked after you complete all mission on 10stars) Also you will get HP regen boost if you completw all mission on 10 star too.... use it to heal a wounded soldier...dont worry lose the combo booster... the regen is faster than repairig vehicle... so have fun ^_^ Bruh you read it?

In sniper mission, you just need to swap between snipers only and take down enemies at building and Few at ground, swap when you dont have clear sight and dont Wait too long at one position.

I used to play this on my xbox360 when i was super young the first mission was so hard for me and i like to drive the car so i could drive any where

The first mission parachuting in is nostalgic as fuck. Let alone the layout before you start. That’s the only part I remember from my childhood besides some of the gameplay and riding around in the buggy… and popping tanks
