BATTLEFIELD 3 FOR LIFE

THIS GAME IS WAY TOO GOOD. I can always come back to it and enjoy it.

I remember when this game was nearing the end of it's lifecycle and thinking, "The next battlefield is going to be insane! Battlefield is finally getting the recognition it deserves and call of duty players are coming over from a dying franchise." Man, how wrong we all were.

I was essentially imagining Battlefield 5 was going to be a World War II version of Battlefield 1, except with some improvements here and there. Basically a game sized WW2 DLC for BF1. But I was thinking that if they did this then the game would be immense in scope because they'd already have much of the groundwork built during BF1 development. But instead we all know what happened, and BFV ended up being a trainwreck that by its end had finally managed to be put back on the tracks, but it never went anywhere. Also, to this day I can't fully comprehend how BFV looks better and worse than BF1 at the same time. The environments and scenery looked great but the character models looked like plastic to me. And the atmosphere and presentation was ass compared to BF1.

Call me crazy Broken but when I play this I am all about inmersion. So because I played the maps thousands times and there is no character customization ( uniforms and symbols are easy recognizable ) I always play with no HUD. I still get kills believe me but man, I feel I am in a movie and only game in history that I don’t get frustrated when I get killed and that’s because of the amazing inmersion. You should play a few spawns ( again just a few lol ) with no hud for all your fans so we can enjoy your movie or even better because you are good at editing …make one with NO HUD! For us to enjoy! People would love it I am sure. And why not making a guide for no HUD playing? You are good at that!

Dude, you ever played the one shot one kill with the standard issue rifles? It is the best fun dude, as you say immersion. This game is the best. It's an experience.

I drive a semi truck around many states, i miss playing this game so much thats why I ordered a steam deck a week ago so i can play some BF1 over the road. Always loved how you read the tactics of the game

i would suggest satelite internet and cloud gaming, better then a steam deck, just play with a laptop/controller.

Always love the BF1 content Broken. You should make some videos about what's going through your mind during some of the more intense fights. I feel like my mindset is always, rush to the point, find a corner to hold, and just try to survive. While you're always moving around, falling back sometimes, throwing dynamite seemingly at random and hitting people I didn't even know were there. I guess that's what they call gamesense?

Its experience in game, hearing the steps and knowing the maps. When you play a mont of hours you start to learn where the players usually go trough and where you should stand up, i do the same as him and its kinda cool. You should try hearing more and watching where high level players go. Good luck with it. 😊

100% agree with Broken about the gameplay loop and why this game is unmatched. In my opinion, this and Doom Eternal have the best modern day gameplay and pacing for their given genres.

Greetings! I have a question: how do you get muzzle flash to be so unobtrusive? I've taken a look at your settings guides and have tried looking it up, messing around with my own video settings, and so on, but have been unable to get my muzzle flash to look better, save for setting my FOV to uncomfortably high values. Do you (or anyone else) know the answer?

Broken do you feel any difference playing with a controller on PC vs Console? I feel like there is a subtle difference in the way the game feels. I don't know if its aim assist or what but after switching back and forth a few times I feel like there is something.

May be the frame rate - more on PC usually, and less input lag; aim assist feels similar but slightly different because of it. Consoles tend to be optimised as much as possible for that 60fps target, sometimes input lag feels worse because of it. Do know what you mean, feels a little "slippery" on PC.

@@TheBrokenMachine slippery really does sound right. A little undershooting then overshooting the target. Collectively definitely attributes to that slippery feeling. I guess I just need to dial in my settings best I can. I also could use a new controller soon. Been debating on a Dualsense to try some gryo aiming.

How is there no recoil on any of the guns you use and you on PS5?

my bud has MW2 but no one that he knows plays with him I used to hop on to play MW19 with him but it began to get stupid sweaty to the point I said I'm done with cod only play BF1 and trying to convince him to play BF1 with me because I know he will have a good time in the trenches

Gamers/youtubers like this make me re-download this game because of the action, but when I do, as soon as I spawn, take 11 steps forward, 6 steps left I die. Then when I spawn again I go right 5 paces, back 8 paces, see a enemy, shoot enemy, then immediately die. Spawn, die, spawn , die, spawn, die, spawn, see enemy, aim, still trying to aim, still aiming on target, die. Spawn rage run, finally see enemy who don't see me, try to aim and shoot to finally add 1 kill to my scorecard, but instead, get excited for easy kill , hard press aim, melee attack! Enemy turns around, see me knifing air, shoots, dead! Smdh 😫😠🤬

Not my favourite Battlefield, there’s something about the gameplay I always found frustrating and I can’t quite put my finger on it. With that said you can’t argue the atmosphere is almost perfect, it feels alive.

Is it more popular since it's free on Xbox gamepass
