There are like no maps. The constant lagging and bugs that never get fixed like the black loading screen and aiming screen. The cheating problem along with not being able to own your own servers. Missing all of these great factions and possible dlcs because the game was rushed and dice doesn't want to admit the failed at a game. The total number of issues with bfv is larger then all other battlefield games combined

Everytime when they fix a bug there is a new one . Never ending story , i was so hyped for bf5 and now i’m playing alone because all my friends on ps4 playing apex🙄🤷🏻‍♂️

The annoying stuttering is ticking me off. Also the plane engine noise on mercury was replaced by a flare gun noise too. Overall the game feels like its going to crash on every hectic game. I get that feeling alot on Arras and Devastation

I wish they didn’t stop support for bf1. They should have just finished perfecting bf1 until the next battlefield was polished.

Then there’s the fact that the behemoths and sentry kits were added to prevent unbalanced games because the coders are too lazy to make a algorithm that balances teams based on btr spm but the matches were still stupid unbalanced so they added auto balance , now you’d think if during a game if the best players were switched from the winning team to the losing team and then also given super weapons and vehicles the games would even out right ? No I still get in a lot of matches where the score ends 400-1000 maps like suez almost always end with the Ottoman Empire steamrolling because of map design , horses still run around like gods taking rockets and artillery to the face before trotting up to you and stabbing you, the classes are still stupidly unbalanced and bf1 is glitchy as hell, it’s better than bf5 by a margin but let’s not forget it was still a let down

Honestly, BF1 got too much hate. It’s such a fun game when you know how to play. The biggest complaint I hear is that there’s not enough action, and I always respond with,” then you aren’t going to the right places or on the right maps.” The sounds are just so immersive and the overall ambience is what BFV lacks most. BFV doesn’t feel like that hopeless, uphill battle that we’re the World Wars.

I really like it, but you kinda get annoyed about all those falling bombs, morters, like thousands of granades, y planes disrupting the flow of the combat. Thats the only good thing about bf5, you dobt get those things too often.

BF5 is better in my opinion

The MP-18 is one of those starter guns that you hate it at first, but when you come back to it when you’ve gotten better at the game, it’s all of a sudden a monster of a weapon

I actually used this weapon to grind for unlocking other smgs. After using this for a while this weapons became a beast. I often did better with it than with the helriegel or 08

They listened to the "core" player base that complained ad nausea about how "casual" BF1 was for two years. How slow the TTK was, how random the bullets were. When in fact, that game was a runaway success. So on the advice of the "core community" they made BFV into hardcore lite. They made the TTK lightning fast, put in attrition to make it more hardcore, took away spotting and made it impossible to see people, and then made the guns laser accurate. As a result, class balance is awful because Assault is king at all ranges and everyone is camping because you die so quickly. There are no skill cannons, no multiple play styles, no weapon variety. Moving anywhere in the game is a severe disadvantage. And these are just the things that were by design. They put out a game in it's beta stage and have yet to make it into a finished product. The insta deaths, the horrendous sound design, bad lighting. As a result to listening to the vocal minority, they disenfranchised the silent majority who weren't trying to be MLG wannabes, who just wanted to log on after work and maybe play a few rounds with friends. And now all you have left is the minority who didn't enjoy BF1. Everyone else has moved on. Say what you will, BF1 was fun. BFV is anything but that for a lot of people.

This game is just so polished compared to bfv. I really wanna like bf5, I really do cuz i love ww2, but dang they really arent handling it well.

Things wrong with BFV: ~Limited ammo ~Can't go on long kill streaks without playing defensively ~Cant auto heal ~Enemies are still somewhat difficult to see ~Guns feel the same ~Secondary weapons need a buff to compete with revolver ~The atmosphere is too peaceful for a WW2 shooter ~The spotting in BF1 is better ~The weapons are too balanced in BFV. For instance in BF1 the hellreigel was a damn powerhouse for the assault class. However you can take down people who use the hellreigel with the Automatico, but if you chose to use the Automatico you were limited to 25 rounds. Also the parabellum could outgun the hellreigel, but the gun had a totally different feel. Unlike BFV where the Tommy gun is a powerhouse, and you cant really outgun it with anything in close range other than the suomi, but the suomi in my opinion has the same feel as the Tommy gun. ~Also, aggressive players like linear maps with flank routes. Argonne forest, Suez, Ballroom blitz, Achi baba, and Tsaritsyn are all fairly linear maps that players can get alot of kills because they have choke points. There are little to no maps with choke points in BFV. They are also circular. You just run around in circles trying to not get gunned down by mmg users and snipers. Maps need more choke points and flanking routes.

Honestly, the ONLY things I like about BFV are squad revives, squad reinforcements, and fortifications. If BF1 had those things, there would be no reason for me to even play BFV.

Um sense when is bfv guns “balanced” the only thing I see are semi automatic rifles and stg’s because those are the best weapons in the game on the rare occasion you will see a medic with a sten or tommy gun tho

Eroth Amur if you play bfv chances are there are 50 players using semi automatic rifles and the rest are using the stg :/

I swear no matter how many years pass, this game will always be something more than a game to me. I haven't been able to play it in a while due to assessments and other school shit as well as my dating life, but I still hold this game dear to my heart. I don't remember the last time I had a BAD experience while playing BF1, and even if it may have a few small issues here and there I love the game for what it is regardless of those issues. I don't wanna sound like i'm rambling or anything but I really love this game so much.

Same. Never had a bad experience. The only thing was wishing I was better so I can get crazier kill streaks. The thing with BF is that it doesn't matter how good you are, you always want to get better haha. This is the BF that affected me the most. It felt too real.

I watched that stream about the debate in chat about gunplay... I have nerve damage in both hands so my aiming is fairly poor (i play on PC) and even with the nerve damage i can usually "outplay" people by adopting certain strategies and not using the "Run and Gun" technique of just equipping an SMG08 or Automatico (which are basically noob weps on PC as there recoil is pretty easy to control) So i agree with you in the fact Strategy is the most important thing to doing well.

Dude, try to change your filters. For example for conquest I usually see about 50 full servers and about 10-15 have nice ping for me.

Well change your filter to show full servers as well. Also check your server regions, you'll find many servers in EU. I know there arent much in US right now

Battlefield 1 is so relaxing to play now. Everytime battlefield V ticks me off battlefield 1 relaxes me lol. I think DICE should take a kind of battlefield 1 like approach to battlefield V but with some creativity so both games dont end up looking exactly the same

@@oukn6293 I meant they should take innovation and lessons as well as an approach to battlefield V just like they did with Battlefield 1 not battlefield V to be exactly like battlefield 1😂 By this I mean look at the DLC's direction they took with battlefield 1, dont you think thats better than all of this cosmetic confusion they have in Battlefield V. I have bought many add ons and cosmetics with certain bonuses in previous battlefied games but now spending money just for cosmetics in BFV? Nope doesnt seem like its worth it. Gameplay wise is they just need to fix the stuttering and its connection with active assignments and these things alone will start setting BFV in the right direction.

BF1 is mostly populated in the evenings/night time. BFV is surprisingly still populated, but that will change soon enough.

US still have a bunch of people in the servers. I think more and more are switching back from BFV. I still play BFV but still enjoy everything in BF1.

Might consider installing bf1 again, will take me a day or so, but it's worth it. Does get me frustrated at times but I think its normal to get slightly frustrated in a competitive game!

Been playing BF 5 for awhile now and it just doesn’t feel as good as BF 1 to me. You can actually see enemy players in bf 1 and the maps are so much better.

Literally everything in this game is better than BFV.

I agree with the title but there are two frustrating things you forgot about artillery trucks and bombers

I remember when bf1 came out and i really didnt like it that much but I would still play it to give a chance but then I deleted it.i waited a couple of months to finally play it and instantly fell in love with it idk why that happened lol

Agree with you TBM on its not just about gunplay with BF1. There's so much to it that's great that I've sadly not fully appreciated until BFV came out. Love this game, and I love seeing that you still play it!

Yep BF1 is so much more fun to pick up and play. I've reverted back to it since the last BFV patch made it more or less unplayable. I just wish DICE would create more servers on the PS4 for BF4 as I still love that game but it's so hard to find a decent server.

Never played BF1 but that map at 4:35 looks stunning.

My only two issues with BF1 is sweet spot zones and the ammount of grenade/explosive spam

You can't go wrong with bf1 great game just played some back to basics the other day so fun everyone using iron sight bolt actions.

Νίκος Γραμματικόπουλος the key is to hip fire and stay with the largest groups of friendly soldiers. If they takes cover then you better fucking take cover, but every once and a while peek around the corner and try to get a kill off

It sucks how australia has hardly any servers for bf1, its only custom servers with 200% bullet damage where its only snipers and machineguns

Look fun to you but very frustrating for the ennemies in your range
