I honeslty had a wrong impression nung nalaman ko na si Ryan ang mag-ga-guide sa kanila Boom at Jihye kasi inakala ko na mag-sta-stammer sya o magiging clumsy sya on the show kasi ganun yung image nya dito sa Philippine TV. I was wrong. He's Korean but he certainly showed that his heart beats for Philippines too. Ang galing at ang ganda ng pagkaka-present nya sa Pilipinas on Korean TV and I salute him for that. I think that this is the funniest episode of Battle Trip. Jihye and Boom were so funny and Ryan went along with their jokes. It doesn't matter if they lost because this episode showed how genuinely happy Jihye and Boom were. Even the hosts and the studio audience laughed so many times. Btw, it's the third time I've watched this episode and the scene in the jungle with Jihye hiking in her swimsuit still cracks me up. 😂😂😂

feels bad for Jihye and boom they really look happy when telling their experience during the trip then feels devastated when they lost. it's ok boom jihye atleast you enjoy your trip and thank for representing 🇵🇭

I don't think Boom&JiHye doesn't even care about winning. Having an extravagant tour by Ryan Bang is the most precious experience not everyone could have. I understand why people fr the studio did not vote for them coz they might not have a friend as extravagant as Ryan Bang😂😂😂 But if ever they do it again I'll be recommending Cebu and bohol and it's way cheaper than the previous places that they showed. I think the concept of this show is the places should be affordable. definitely Thailand and Vietnam are way cheaper. But if you check youtuber people who do backpacking they always ended up coming back to Phils. even if its expensive.

You can tell by jihye and Boom's faces that they enjoyed Boracay so much!!! I'm a Filipino but I have never been to Boracay. Upon watching this, Boracay is now part of my bucket list for a travel destination. Ryan Bang is a pure soul filipino. He did a great job being a tour guide.

$217 for 2 days sa Hanoi compared nmn sa $530 sa boracay which is 4days. Maliit lng difference nde kse nla inanalysed ung days kya feeling nla mahal. Tapos my chopper ride kpa san pa cla. But kudos to Ryan Bang he did so well pra maipakita ang natatagong ganda ng boracay.

In Boracay, Everything is expensive but it's worth it. 😂 Although they didn't win in Battle trip (For sure because of money wise), It's still a win-win to be able to enjoy and have that kind of experience. (But you have to load your wallets and pockets first cause the food in boracay are doubled in prices and the rest are really pricey too! 😂

gagi $530 for 4 days, dito sa ph SUPER BUDGETED NA YAN $500 maglast lang yan ng 1-2 days usually pero nasiksik nila into 4 days...

Wag nyo nang isipin na isa itong competition,maybe for them its a competition but for us Pinoys,this is just part of tourism..😊 we just letting them know that Philippines has so many things to offer,from beaches, to people, to food..

I still think it’s one of the best trips featured in this program.

What really made their trip to Boracay special is how Ryan was able to make them feel the Filipino Hospitality which he himself is able to experience everyday. ❤

Ryan's itinerary is expensive because they did a lot and the trip was longer. But if you're on a budget, plan your trip well and customize it to your tastes, like for example, I might not go clubbing as much or choose a cheaper club. Thank you, KBS, for always showcasing the Philippines and for Ryan for planning an awesome trip!

Yes. Then, he guested in two more shows. Running Man and Video Star. He is even in a Korean documentary, but it has no subtitles.

My professor said to us that when you go to other places, you go there to have fun and enjoy. It may be expensive but it is worth the price. You visit another place maybe once or twice so you need to get the most out of it. And this Boracay itinerary is amazing because it was not only the beauty of Philippines was shown, but also the culture of the Filipinos as well, especially our hospitality to our guests. Filipino Hospitality at its finest. It's like taking out the best bed sheets and plates and cutleries just for the visitors, just like how our mothers and grandmothers were doing. Lol. Great job, Ryan! tunay kang may pusong pinoy!

To be honest, its not battle trip that counts its the experience, the amazing wonders of the place. When I visited that place I was amazed was the sand wearing no slippers feeling comfortable and i can't feel a extreme heat even the sun is too hot. You can see the crystal clear of the water early in the morning while the water is still.

This is probably the most entertaining episode of battle trip for me following dara’s episode

I think the reason why they choose the other one (sorry I forgot the name of the place) is because it’s more cheeper than Boracay. But people all over the world known already Boracay as one of the beautiful island in the world. By the way Lee Min Hoo love Boracay guys so it’s ok if they lost now. I actually went to Malumpati (that blue lagoon but it's actually a spring lol hahaha) once back in 2016 when I took off a month long vacation there since it was my dad's hometown. Malumpati is actually in Antique, the province adjacent to Aklan, where Boracay belongs. So it's more like a side trip to there. But I swear, experiencing Malumpati wouldn't be a waste, since it's reaaaaally beautiful in person. I think they actually missed an important information about it: MALUMPATI IS A COLD SPRING. AND IT'S REALLY COLD. My uncle actually put a 1.5L bottle of coke in that cold spring (the coke wasn't cold like it wasn't from the fridge haha), left it there for like 15 minutes, pulled it out from there and we drank it AS IF IT WAS REALLY FROM THE FRIDGE A WHILE AGO. No kidding. It's pretty disappointing that they didn't win (Ryan Bang's team) but he really did a great job in planning such itinerary and making the tourists experience our country. I hope KBS would look for more tourist spots here in the Philippines since there are really many of them :)

As Boom and Jihye said earlier, they don't care even if they lose and what matters most is their unforgettable experience in Boracay. Visit again after we defeat this Covid pandemic crisis and you'll see a huge improvement there because it has undergo rehabilitation.

My 3rd time watching Battle Trip featuring Philippines Tourism. I'm a tourism student. I learned about PH and international spots. And for Ryan, he did great. He showed the Filipino culture and the hospitality of the Filipinos. I don't care if we loss it's already a great exposure for the Philippines to be known in other countries. I believed the Filipino culture always think for the best of their guest to make them happy and to create happy memories while their staying in the country.

the cheering at the diving board part made me miss my country. we cheer for random people, sing birthday for random people. ugh nakakamiss 😭

I’ve watched this the first time since we’re still in quarantine. But I honestly thank KBS for always showcasing the beauty of the Philippines. Though, no offense, I think Koreans love fancier places like European countries, and that they are culturally taught just to see fancier things. Sorry..

Two reasons why I watched this episode: RYAN BANG & BORACAY. Ryan Bang is the perfect tour guide with the use of 5 S and I haven't been to Boracay myself but it feels like I was part of their journey. Kudos Ryan Bang! Helicopter ride aside, the Ryan Bang tour has everything in it. Food, culture, history, adventure, NATURE and more so I'm really surprised they lost. I am judging this as a traveller who wants to make the most out of my trip.

I’m so jealous I’ve never been to Boracay but i do know Filipinos have the best pork dishes. I totally enjoyed this video. Both of them are super funny and Ryan was so sweet to show them around. Now I need to fly to the 🇵🇭 and experience Boracay for my self (American/Filipina)

PS: Please don't think that visiting the Philippines is expensive. Boracay is just on the higher end and mainly commercialized tourist spot hence their expenses. You can visit other amazing places in the Philippines without breaking the bank :)

lordlors, it could be has something to do with the location too. Some South East Asia countries are connected by land so it's easy to transfer from one country to the other.

Bali is way closer in Australia. That could be one of the reasons too. I have an Aussie client and he told me that many Aussies go to Bali because it's way closer to them. Also, Bali is nice.

That's subjective. Palawan and Siargao are among the islands that are getting popular among tourists. For Europeans, which country is closer to them, Indonesia or Philippines?

Again, that's still subjective. Tourist arrival statistics is just one indicator and parameter. So your conclusion is not really 100% accurate. In fact, we can't just make a firm conclusion on that. Many foreigners have wrong perception about the Philippines because of the news they heard. The advantage of the Philippines is that the tourists can interact with the locals because many Filipinos can speak English. I am talking about the overall experience here. Hence, your conclusion is not really accurate. One of the famous vloggers is Nas and he said, the Philippines is definitely one of his favorite countries. Los Leblanc even put Siargao as his top 1. Number of visits is just one indicator and that's the problem because with that one indicator, you came up with that conclusion. LOL
