William during the entire war at night there was a lot of fratinizing between the two sides. Many times trading went on between the 2 where the North had surplus of coffee with the South having tobacco. And so though there might not have been an official meeting between the 2 sides one of these trading meetings could have gone on there.

@williamstillman8543 One of my favorite stories of the Civil War was even though most of the fighting was impersonal, there was an event where two good old boys took offense to each other. At first, it was just a gun fight until one of the guys challenged the other to a fist fight. So at first, these guys were boxing it out as the firefight was going on, but soon, members from each regiment started watching them betting on who would win the fight. At the end of this skirmish they decided to have a party toasting each guy in turn. The next day they went back to killing each other.

@@williamstillman8543 Although I am not a battlefield historian, from what I have learned about the first day's battle (which is where this video was recorded), your reading is accurate. One point that I found very interesting is the interaction between officials from both sides that you point out (starting at 11:50). There is an interesting story about the McClean barn and what happened there on the first day's battle that may be related to this interaction/meeting. As for the McClean farmhouse, it is the most peaceful place I have lived! The house has a very welcoming feel to it, and I can say it's the only place I have lived where I feel "at home". The next time you come to Gettysburg, I would love to have you visit the farm!!

I wonder if it is possible for William could collaborate with another medium equal to each other’s experience and talk about what they are picking up. Not to outdo each other but in tangent with their on site experience if you will. Anyway, just a thought. Thanks again. I enjoy your readings

@williamstillman8543 it was probably about the 59 second mark...yet, it more reverberated in my head than heard it on the video...strangeness.
