You should try Shin ramen if you haven't already. Specifically Shin Black. In my opinion best packaged ramen hands down

you made the buldak wrong it deserves a redemption

The buldak and momofuko are meant to be dry noodles not soupy

I see my fav. Buldok ramen the Carbonara flavor in the pink bag!! OMG it is so good!

I think the momofuku and the carbonara buldak had too much water in them. They are meant to be eaten as dry noodles rather than with soup. So that might account for why the momofuku was bland

Hell yeah! Tonkatsu ramen is the best especially of instants but honestly it's better than some ramen places around me too.

How do you have a Ramen battle and not include Shin Ramen??? 😳😳 Arguably the best all around instant Ramen on the market!

I love the momofuku soy and scallion! I know you ate them according to the directions, but I like to drain all of the water from mine, add in the packets and some kewpie mayo! It makes it creamy! So good!

You're missing the best of the best! Indomie Mi Goreng is the yummiest instant noodle I've ever had. Savory, slightly sweet with a pinch of heat. I've never met someone who didn't like them. So good! 😋 🍜

For mama noodles the best flavor is Tom yum

the tonkotsu one is my favortie !!! also the momofuku ramen is a dry ramen noodle not a soupy one so id recommend a retry :)

We buy thr tonkotsu in 6 psvks at sams club. It has the packet of black garlic oil in it. So good. Now costso has tonkotsu but their 6 pack comes with chili oil. I'm a jeep driving grandma! 👋

The Tonkotsu is my favorite. We all love it.

I immediately recognized the rice ramen that you tried because it's the type I always eat since it's gluten-free. The seasoning packet that comes with the noodles is not the tastiest (but it's good for a soup base that can be used separate from the noodles), but I usually make a spicy almond butter sauce to toss the noodles in. The noodles take a little getting used to if you're used to eating wheat, but they're a tasty gluten-free alternative for anyone who needs them!

@@DeeLite220 I mix a couple tablespoons of almond butter with soy sauce, a little sesame oil, a little honey, garlic and ginger (garlic powder and powdered ginger work well too), red pepper flakes, and toss it with the rice noodles when they're hot and just taken out of the pot ^-^ I then top it with sesame seeds and whatever protein I'm eating my ramen with and it's very tasty! You can add a drizzle of siracha on top if it's not spicy enough :]

You need to try indomie noodles those are so so so fucking good, one of my top 3 fav packaged noodles

Indomie noodles are my favorite the best flavors are the white and the orange one

That tonkatsu ramen is also my favorite ramen let's say it's in the top four but it's probably in the top two of that four!! I remember loving Mama ramen but I haven't seen it in years. My other favorite ramen is the shin green I hope you try it out I'd love to know what you think

The seaweed ramen you had and hated I actually like! Or I have at least had really good ramen by that brand, maybe not that exact flavour. They have a miso ramen that is really nice

I could actually tell several of them just from how they look 💀 a couple of years ago a family member told me I shouldn't eat ramen every single day so I have a lot of experience I guess

Love this vid! I love watching taste testing / comparison videos! 😊💜 I'm very lucky in that I live close to a really, really great ramen shop. But it doesn't stop me from eating instant at home all the time 😂😂. Kurogama Tonkotsu ramen is my all-time, forever favorite, you just can't go wrong with that. There's so many dang flavors and brands, it's hard to choose. I live in an area that's mostly asian, with a huge Japanese population (west coast), and the asian markets here have huge, long aisles of instant ramen and other instant noodles, and I honestly don't know if I'll ever be able to say I've tried most of them.😭 But, another of my favorites, which is perfect for summer (coming up quick!) Is Bibimmyun, a spicy cold Korean noodle dish, which you can buy as instant. So delicious and refreshing! 😋💜

The Tonkotsu bowl with black garlic oil packet is my favorite but i cam get the Nissen Roeh in tonkotsu flavor at Wal-Mart and thats a second runner up kust because their noodles are soo good. I never eat them naked tho lol I always got to drop a soft fried egg im and some shrimp or even pork floss and any veg i have hanging out. Fresh green onion on top. I usually have some seaweed snacks or even furikaki and a swirl of toasted sesame oil on top

Well, I guess I'm boring. My preferred ramen is Top Ramen in the Soy Sauce/ Original flavor. Just has a touch of ginger in it. Grew up on it. Still eat it. Always will. ❤ 🍜❤

My top 3 - Samyang Stew Type, Samyang Carbo, and Indomie Hot&Spicy

Here's a tip I learned from watching China Mac. Boil the water. Drop in the noodles, let it boil a minute, then drain the noodles, rinse them in cool water, add water and boil then continue with the package instructions. The first boiling gets rid of the waxy/oily stuff they put on the noodles and makes them taste "fresher".

ANY tonkatsu Ramen is my favorite!

Good to know about the tonkatsu, I've never tried that one. There's also a cup curry ramen that's puts the other styrofoam ramens to shame.

I love David Chang and I wanted to love those momofuko noodles, but they are just ok. And that goes for every flavor. They have to be doctored up. And for the price I have to ask if it is worth it.

I don't think you cooked the 2nd one right? It's not supposed to have water in it. You gotta drain it and then mix all the sauce in.

Let me send you a pack or the morimoto ramen. So yum. Also #2 wasn't made right. You have to drain it of most of the water before adding the flavor and spice packet

Buldak carbonara. I wanted to try them since I kept seeing them everywhere, and I love carbonara. I made them with the full spice pack but they were too spicy for me. Then i made them without the spicy sauce, and they were awful. It was like a sugary cheese noodle.

@@nvme071 Thanks! I want to try them again (I have 3 left) because I do love cheesy noodle dishes. But it definitely seems like you need the spice to balance out the sweetness in the seasoning packet. So half the spice packet might be the answer for me 🙂

Having to be GF the rice ramen. I buy the multipack (no seasoning just the Noods) I never use the seasonings in the single packs! I make my own 😂 that stuff is yuck.

Some are to be eaten dry, some with broth or the water.

You cooked them all the same. They're not all the same. Try this again but read the instructions. You will have way different results.

So what do you do with all this ramen after the video? Please tell me you don't waste it , I hate wasted food
