Um, Actually: A few folks have already pointed out that the Brahms doll in the first The Boy movie was not possessed (which was retconned in the sequel). For that same question, though, the Chucky doll from the first Child's Play movie was not an old doll at all--it was a brand new Good Guys toy line that was being sold in the toy store where the young boy character's mom worked. Pedantic, I know, but you all should be used to that by now.

Regarding that Real Life Question: in my middle school social studies class, one of our big projects was preparing for and participating in a group debate. My group got the topic "should you have to be natural-born to become president?", which led to a *ton* of research into the immigration process. To this day *mumbles* years later, I may not remember all the details, but I do remember the takeaway: it's *fucking hard* to become a US citizen if you're not one already. It can cost so much time, effort, education, and *money* that anyone who is willing and able to go through all that just to become a US citizen is *far more likely* to be loyal to the country's citizens than someone who was just born into it. After like a month or two of prep, we get to the debate, and our opponents' entire argument was, "but what if they want to destroy the US from the inside?" phrased multiple different ways, to which we just kept responding, "...that's more likely to happen with a natural-born citizen, but in the case, don't vote for them?" So much research for what amounted to a preamble as there was no actual debate from the other side. And that continues to this day whenever conservatives negatively stereotype "illegal immigrants" with no understanding of what it costs to become "legal" immigrants, or how often people try to come to the US precisely *because* they could never afford that cost in their home country.

Um, actually: the original Japanese of the famous “it’s over 9000 scene” says “it’s over 8000” however the mouth flaps didn’t exactly line up between Hachi and eight, so for some reason they changed it to nine, even though it’s the same issue.

Um actually, Annabelle wasn't possessed. She was an anchor for a demon. The demon didn't possess the doll and walk around, he was literally moving the doll to make it seem like she was alive. They even make the distinction in the movie.

um actually, I'm pretty sure tarzan cannot speak most of the languages (the human languages at least) and can only read them, since he learnt them all from books left in his parents' cabin before they died. but the question stated that he was "fluent", so I'm not sure if just reading is enough to be considered fluent. but also it's been a long long time since I read the book so I could be wrong

Funny, that Need More Pixels image actually looked like Vegeta in an 8 bit game or something, fully recognizable. I honestly thought they had screwed up because I swear I have seen that exact image (like the full pixelation) in a video game or something somewhere, but maybe it was some fan thing.
