Loved your video! I went with the V2 Pro's. Do you have recommended EQ settings for FPS games like COD Warzone? I have it on default and I just feel like I am lacking some positional awareness. Gunshots sound great, but footsteps seem slightly lost. Any help you can offer would be hugely appreciated!

Blackshark v2 pro wireless was amazing for 4 months and than started crackling audio and outputting more audio on one side than the other on the 5th month. Also, I had to arrange the volume dial to where it outputs the same volume level on both ears.

The logitech comes with the memory foam ear pads though?

Blackshark V2 Pro here going on a few months, so far so good. Can't believe they still use Micro-USB but I'm over it. Battery life has been so good I've only had to charge twice. Really had to set it up through Synapse for best mic sound but then disabled the app and service once it was all figured out. Surround sound seems like a gimmick. Sounds good without it. Just try a few pairs out for a month and return the ones you don't like. Best way to do it in my book.

Wholly crap been looking almost daily for someone to compare these two before deciding, thank you so much!!!! These are defiantly the best wireless offerings out there for gaming, even when taking into consideration the audiophile segment like Sony, Sennheiser etc

A really good video. I was needing a lot of this comparison. I like more the microfone quality of black shark v2 pro, even the logitech using the blue voice. Headphone quality is too good from both of them, I watched videos about these headsets. The white version of Black Shark v2 pro in my opinion is more beautiful than the black one since I have the g pro x superlight. Everthing in my setup is black, except the mouse.

My blackshark v2 pro is nice, the one issue i have is a hardware issue. When my headset is turned up all of the way on the nob, it produces more sound in the left cup than the right. I have to turn the nob to about 80% to get it to be consistent though both cups.

Can we use the headphone while its charging?

Tbh from other videos I've seen on the gpro x they show how capable the mic is with the broadcaster mic presets on ghub with blue voice enabled, imo it sounds similar to a boom mic

I've had two models of the steel series arctic 9 and both the hinges on the ear cup has cracked within 3 months. Apart from that excellent headset.

Got the BSV2PRO for 3 weeks now its good for gaming and music as long as you turn off THX Spatial was blown away by the comfort it's surprisingly light .

Sarmad awan. If you haven’t decided yet, I have had the razor black sharks since they came out and I would definitely put them above the g pro. I had issues with the mic on my g pros and have had no issues with the black shark. 10/10 recommend them

I bought the razer ones because of the good reviews but i was shocked when i enabled the THX spatial audio feature, it was really bad, like listening to a cheap radio or something, i thought my unit was defective, but looks like its supposed to work that way, not worth that amount of money if you are into 7.1 spatial audio (this headset works better with dolby atmos than with THX)

That only happens when you turn on the THX through razer app. Just leave it off and have the THX spatial audio on through windows.

Does the blackshark have a game chat button on them.

I already bought the v2 pros and here's what I noticed: They are still very heavy, especially compared to wired headsets. When the volume knob on the actual headset is turned to the loudest, it starts crackling. Other than that they've been great so far!

Logitech Headseats better for FPS games not to worry

I have the Logitech ones and I have a big problem. As long as I have G Hub installed, the sound is horrible and can't turn Dolby Atmos on! But when I uninstall it, the sound gets better. How do I solve it??

I have tried the HyperX Cloud Alpha, the SteelSeries Arctis 7 Wireless, the Razer BlackShark V2 Pro Wireless and the Logitech G Pro X Wireless Headsets. The Razer BlackShark V2 Pro Wireless had the best sound out of the box. You get that bass punch in the middle of battle and the highs never had that screeching effect that can hurt your ears. But when playing Warzone, footsteps that sounded like they were coming from one direction were coming from the opposite. I tried the THX surround sound as well and that did not fix the problem. Whereas with the Logitech G Pro X Wireless, the sound wasn’t as good as the BlackShark, but you can change the EQ settings and I could pinpoint where every sound was coming from making me a much better player and fully aware of my surroundings. My opinion is if you play a lot of FPS games, go with the Logitech G Pro X Wireless because none of the other headsets I tried came close to the pinpoint accuracy of sound direction that the Pro X offers.

Thanks Sir! That was, what i was looking for. I had in this point many Headsets. The only Problem for me is, the wired version of the Lt G Pro ist half of the price than the WIreless version. The Razer V2 Pro is even worse. The price of the wireless ones are nearly the triple of the wired ones. Its rly ridiculous!

what can you say about the arctis 7?

I ordered the Razer Blackshark V2 pro because they were on a black Friday deal on Amazon at £90 which is half price, however I am returning them and picking up a pair of Logitech G Pro X Wireless based on the fact that I hate how huge the microphone is on the Razer. Literally no other difference, I am willing to spend an extra £30, for the sake of a microphone size. I did however love the memory foam band & cups as well as the sound quality.

i have both and i can say the same the clamp on the logitech is fucking ridiculous. It feels way more premium but the mic is worse, the clamping sucks, the finish sucks, the plastic at the ear cups sucks, its too god damn heavy

@@justgulden6154 honestly its in the eye of the beholder with that one. The pro x wireless is way more flat out of the box but it also cant reproduce very low frequencies its lacking in bass fairly heavily in comparison. The razer drivers just hit smoother with low and very high where as the logitech is cristal clear mids which is gret in fps but kinda sucks for if you want to listen to music or anything else. The razer on the other hand you can set an EQ that can get close enough to the logi but not quite there but it performs far better outside of strickly fps. This of course is purly subjective and specific to what you play or do with yours but for me the razer just edges out the logitech but it depends how you weigh each factor. For example most people rate comfort number 1 and for that its hands down razer as the g pro x wireless clamps the shit out of your head for a good month or so even if you leave them overnight on a chair stretched.

@@mattr801 that is probaly the mic feedback, I used to have the Cloud IIs and if no audio, you'd hear a static. It's widely unnoticeable. I wish mic feedback was better but unfortunately even my blue yeti has the same effect.

@@aladdin7387 it's pretty good actually. It's not like the Krakens; the bass is less bloated but still full and a bit more mid forward. Your not going to get Sennheiser resolution out of it, but it's drivers are tuned well and loud enough for me at least.

If I hadn't seen your review I never even would have known it was adjustable/pull able, the metal piece that can extend. It seemed so firm I thought it was fixed, but I'm glad I was wrong. I got the extra comfort already. Thanks for the quick reply. I appreciate it. Keep doing what you do.

@@Leckyy I currently have both the G Pro X and G733, and personally, they're the same when it comes to sound quality. I would suggest you get the cheaper G733 just for wireless gaming and a dedicated headphone for music/movie. I know, that's not ideal but it is what it is. Gaming headset ain't meant for music or entertainment... they're mediocre at best.

I'm not sure if I got a dud or if that's just how they are, but the pair of G Pro X Wireless I got had absolutely no bass! I tried using the EQ, but there was absolutely no power behind it, just sounded terrible. Even tried a different PC, to see if there was a weird interaction between the USB dongle and the onboard sound car. Got the Razer headset today, and it sounds great after some EQ in the synaps softrware. I will say the build quality of the Logitech is leaps and bounds above the Razer. Just sucks that they sounded terrible.

Same, I used logitech pro x wired for 1 year and sometimes just want full bass music with MMO games, but they suck, the sound is too low on them and i decided to buy blackshark and i am amazed that these have atleast 100 times better sound and bass. Logitech is just for people who want pinpoint accuracy in FPS games but they suck in all other departments and not to mention they fit really tight on ur head which i realized after using Blackshark, sometimes i even forget that i am wearing headphones.

Well I wouldn't trade my Cosairs Virtuoso SE by any of these, not even both, well, if they were new I would maybe sell them both and buy the new XT version wich also has bluetooth...

razer wins it seems. Any idea how it compares to sony pulse 3d or other wireless headsets? Huge props for mentioning that windows volume stays at 100% and You control blackshark headp[hones volume with output. Some wireless headsets just control digitally the volume in windows while always running headphones at max volume... so this means more static. Any idea what other headphones use analog potentiometer like blackshark?

The razer blackshark v2 pro's are amazing in my opinion. I tried them for music, gaming(fps), movies and it performs well. The wide variety of connectivity is surprising too. I tried it on pc, mobile, and on tv (wirelessly, and i use an otg adapter for the dongle when it's connected to my phone). I can wear the headphones for hours and hours and i don't sweat(i guess because my room is cold) and they don't slide off my head. The clamping for is just enough for it to stay on your head and also enough fornit not to slide off your head. The microphone is bassy (i use the broadcast mode). and if the micro usb port is a deal breaker for you, you can buy a magnetic micro usb charging cable (that's what i do) to get rid of that micro usb problem. All in all, I'm satisfied with the sound quality and build quality of the product. The razer blackshark v2 pro is worth it.

@@nyhvero7385 same recharge time. takes 3hrs to fullcharge but i rarely full charge sometimeni charge after playing and and then unplug it when i play. I rarely get the low battery beep unless i didn't charge for 2 days or so. I can suggest some magnetic micro usb cables but the one im using is a local brand called "budi micro usb magnetic charging cable"

I'd like to also add that I've dropped the headphones twice already and they still sound fine and there are no visible scratches on it. I've also accidentally banged it around the walls in the house since i keep forgetting i have the headphones on.

What I hate about my G Pro X is the fact that they can't go any louder than what G.Hub provides. They could definitely go louder as I've checked that out with another EQ tools and without distortion also, but you lose the surround tweaks which I came to really like, so the low volume is disappointing.

@@denisshotz1650 I got a pair of Hifiman Sundara + a Zen Stack so my audio setup received quite an upgrade. I didn't get it specifically for gaming though, but mainly for music and then gaming. I 'm very satisfied with the setup. If you're not willing to spend what the whole thing costs, you can go on and get a pair of EPOS PC38X. Watch some KZread videos and you'll see that they have one of the best soundstage and imaging for gaming. They're pretty impressive and they're relatively cheap, but they're wired. Wireless is just far from decent, from my perspective. That's why I went back to wires, which now I really love. I have $300 worth of cables cause why not. Anyway, with the PC38X, you don't need a Dac or amp. They're great out of the box. PS: On Drop, you can get them with free shipping. The offer actually ends today.

I have blackshark v2 pro for like 2 months now. Everything is good about the headset besides the crackling noise that starts to kick in at max volume. Especially when the bass starts to kick in. You can limit the crackling by reducing the bass boost, but then again, whats the point of listening to music without bass? I hope razer fix this crackling issue with a firmware update soon.

@@unbiasOrbit Never had v2. But I have another pair of blackshark v2 pro - Rainbow six siege edition, but that never had this issue. It can't be a faulty headset since almost every user has this issue with the regular v2 pro.

@@unbiasOrbit im listening with v2 wired now with full bass and max volume, no crackling or hisses at all, no in game delay, everything's good except the cables are in the way

@@padapada7851 That's great to hear! I bought the V2 already and so far it's been great.. I like the rather neutral sound of the drivers and I've gotten used to the cable being in the way, it's not a big deal anymore tbh.. Love the headset, even my friend likes it and he's planning on getting the V2 X because of me.. It's really comfy too because it's so lightweight and earcups are deep enough for my ears!

People be like: "I NEED A GAMING HEADSET"

Has there been any news on the Razer BlackShark V2 Pro Wireless followup?

The v2 pro is better in every way , They even beat out my Artics 7p+

Razer's mic is actually pretty good after you turn on the broadcasting mode.....

@@Justin-vu8pq yup change it to broadcast mode and that will solve the problem. Or if you want you could create/adjust the settings to your liking.

I just got mine, I love the sound...finally headphones that I can listen to music with. However, for the price, I think the mic sounds like a phone call, does broadcasting help with that? and where do I change it?

Just use VoiceMeeter, way better than their default

Do the V2 Pro work with the 3D audio on the PS5?

Can confirm, Demon's souls scared the shit out of me when idling in the Nexus and that metallic knock came from right above me. With the comfort, battery life, and audio/mic quality... I'm in love.

Black Shark does support 3D Audio on PS5.

@@CriPPleR_HD Any headset can turn on the PS5 surround sound. But the specific surround that the blackshark uses on PC can't be used on ps5/4.

@@KraljHD correct. Personally, not a fan of THX Spatial Audio on PC. Dolby Atmos for headphones works better IMO. I feel that on PS5 the 3D Audio is better than THX as well. So for me, there is no need for the Razer THX surround with the Black Sharks to enjoy spatial audio.

@@brianorta3638 bro use Dolby access and enable windows spatial audio , it is far better than any branded virtual surround sound like that of hyperx, razer and Logitech. Not only it gives 360 degree positional audio, but it also gives vertical positional audio, so you can tell if the enemy is up and down the floor

I have both, Razer is much better in every aspect. Also, the SteelSeries surround sound system is not as good if that matters to you.

I went with the Razer Blackshark V2 Pro, as all my other peripherals are also Razer. I did have a RIG 800 HD, which is still a great headset, but only sold it because I wanted everything Razer.

Why do companies like Razer still use micro USB? It cant be that expensive to put a USB-C port on the headset. Complete deal breaker for me.

So if you were given a option to choose Logitech G Pro (no blue voice) vs G Pro X vs Blackshark V2 ? Which is the best in terms of comfort and sound quailty? I'm currently using Blackshark V2x but holy moly, it gets so hot after 2 hours of game play. It actually hurts my ear as well T_T

Immediate knockout win for the Logitech because it uses usb c

Do the Blackshark V2 Pro work well with Discord? The Logitech pro X Wireless do not work well at all with Discord, sounds like you are blocking your nose to other people you talk to.

@@Darth_CeeZeR I bought the Razer and it works fine with Discord. It actually has a "Discord Certified" badge on the Razer home page even though it is not on the Discord list of certified headsets...
