@@LLawlietKris8 It's not a bad set of cans for gaming but for music etc. It is not really too good unfortunately. Bass overrides everything and there is a cave effect of sorts. Also it can not handle any base heavy songs and cracks up. Also Logitech had a wide sound field, these ones just give the feeling it's in your brain. Hard to explain. So yea, a bit disappointed overall, would have liked them to work better

@@lol-lp4tw blackshark it did not do it for me except for gaming. For anything else the sound is muddy and like coming from inside your head. And base cracks up and overwrites all nuiance of mids and trebs. If not for the lag my sony wh4 out performs it in every way. You get used to this cave effect after a while but it is just a compromise.

Yea seems like Logitech (Pro X Wireless) and Razer are starting to produce actual good audio products. No crappy RGB but instead a durable design with a nice and balanced sound. I hope this trend continues

@@andysledge no mate do NOT make the mistake of buying the Pro X Wireless. They got horrendous white noise that can be heard at ALL times unless you're gaming with loud ambient sounds. The younger you are, the better your hearing, the louder the white noise will be. I suggest trying them in store first

yeah most wireless headsets get terrible reviews but people seem to love these!

Got this headset today as a gift :) I would appreciate Razer if they use type C instead of the micro USB... But overall, this is a great headset. ***This is an update after 8 months*** Pros: - You can wear them for long hours, thanks to the lightweight - The sound signature is great for FPS games, a bit dry to some ears out there but it's ok for gaming cause you don't want booming bass in fps games. - Good battery life - The mic is pretty good, I got compliments from some random guys I played with lol Cons: - The connection is not good, not stable. If you're going to buy this for a wireless headphone then forget it, you're gonna use it with cable eventually for a stable connection. - When you use it wirelessly, the bass is weird sometimes. It's like the drivers are shaking? It's gone when you plug the cable - It doesn't have Bluetooth - Again, Micro USB!

Afaik, it has ometing to do with the dongle. They say u have put a adapter between a USB and the dongle in order for it to be totally normal. Heard from some reviews who tried it that way and it got way better. Could also be just a software issue which is fixed now

@@kaiaree.6442 So you get a USB to USB adapter and plug the dongle in the PC via the adapter, not straight into an USB Port. But I have used the headset on 3 PCs and never had an issue so maybe its just fa few faulty ones.

I got the Razer Blacksharp V2 Wired and its really bassy and good for 100$ I've had mics that have cost 150-200 and this beats it 100%

I disagree with 7.1 being a gimmick. I've had many 7.1 surround sound headsets over the years and anytime i've switched from 7.1 to stereo the spatial difference has been noticeable. My second headset I specifically tested this with a friend on Planetside 2 by having him unloading his Gauss Saw next to me while I spun around with both my old stereo and my new 7.1 Steelseries. The difference IS there.

I agree with you there!I have Dolby Atmos with Ultra High Quality upscaler and I've tried stereo headphones and the 7.1 surround sound and it's like a difference between night and day and surround sound is the way to go my broski yeehaw yo!

I also hate the micro usb so I ordered a micro usb to usb-c converter that just stays in the headset so I can use all my usb-c cables to charge it. Headset is now perfect.

I forgot the BlackSharks were a headset and they done resurrected it.

This is so much better than even steelseries pro but still more comfortable, fits bigger heads and cheaper.

On there website the way they show the headphones makes it look like it comes with a wireless charging headset rest, if that came with it the reviews would go through the roof!!

Also the new Viper 8k has been tested as the best gaming mouse from many reviews so I would not say that Razer has bad stuff. But like any company, not everything is great. But the medium-high end stuff is among the best from Razer

Using this for 3 weeks now their awesome for both gaming and music listening I was surprised with the mic as well sounds better than my Strix Go 2.4, turn off THX it's a lot better imo .

@@jothamoakes609 yes diff is day & night the problem with the Strix Go is emphasized when you used it bare with all the gimicky effects of armory crate turned off but with bsv2 pro when playing competetive shooters like valorant apex cod you just need to turn off thx spatial everything else is good left on I also tried no software pluging this wired to dragonfly black dac worked it enhanced the sound just like any other regular headphones

Yup thx off for pc you can choose the thx audio as default voice if you turn it on on the synapses it would sound horribly

I also want to know if they're louder than any Hyperx connected wirelessly to a console, specifically PS5. I tried Cloud 2 wireless last night and I like them at 95 to 100% of volume but with this my battery drain will be worse.

I just bought these today at best buy , they are amazing so far . Yeah it's pricey but it's definitely worth it . Save up for this headset . It's minimal , light , very comfortable on the ears . I wish it had that leather cushion but that's just preference.

Hey! Can you use them while charging? Also, do you have connection issues I've read about? People complaining that they randomly hear disconnecting beep and that you have to do some tweaks to solve it..

I am actually more of a fan of swinging mics. I am always worried I will lose the removable mic.

Yeah, I have an older version of the Corsair Void and I use surround sound for both gaming and music, it seems to just clean the audio up that way, and even though its not true surround sound Im still getting more spatial awareness than in stereo, imo at least.

Im ordering this headset as well as a Mercury chroma base station tongo with my Mercury Huntsman mini and Mercury viper ultimate. I like white.

Have had my Arctis Pro Wireless for well over a year.5 and while I do think they are great, I wonder how they stack up with newer headset, like this.

Looking for a new head set and this was a helpful video. One thing I love about my Steel Series headset is the dual channel audio where I can control volume of the game vs comm apps like Discord.

Have you compared these with the steelseries 7x/7p or even the 9x? Any thoughts on which is better?

I know this headset has been out for a while so it's old news now but I was at best buy yesterday looking for a new TV and I also decided to buy a new headset as my old one was half broken. This headset was the best one they had in stock so I bought it, it cost me a little more than a 140 dollars. When I opened it up I expected to see a USB C because why not? It's 2022 and the product was well over a 100 dollars so they got no reason to use anything less than USB C right? Well when I saw that micro USB I was astonished. How could they possibly thought it was ok to put a micro USB on a 100+ dollar headset in 2022? It almost made me want to send the headset back but idk I guess I won't but if I knew that headset uses micro USB before I bought it I wouldn't of bought it.

Pretty good review but sadly just like in most headset reviews you completely forgot about all the people that wear glasses! How comfortable or uncomfortable are they if you wear glasses? How tight is the fit?

worth 100% really good headset for the price very bassy

Im looking at upgrading my old Corsair Void headset, but I didnt really learn anything about the Blackshark that I cant read in the marketing material, aside from seeing it does have an adjustable head strap.

Does this headset flake like other leather headsets? Like does the ear cushion and headband deteriorate? Hoping that does this one does not deteriorate like my Redragon H510

Any idea why the mic is so bad? I just got this and everyone is telling me my voice is super low and every other word is cutting out. I never had this issue with any headset in my life. Do I just return it?

Man, I wish I came across these first, I ended up buying the Razer Nari Wireless Ultimate Headset Which are SO nice but the audio quality just isn't there for me personally. I also lost the wireless dongle within a couple weeks of having it after visiting a cousins house (which is incredibly small) and ended up having to use it wired which basically completely disables all the cool advanced functions on the headset. No RGB once so ever, no haptic feedback, No EQ or mute which is kinda absurd to me. So now I'm looking in the market for another good wireless headset... I hope these don't disappoint. These also seem a lot more lowkey and less heavy as the Nari Ultimate's so we'll see.

The reviewer hit the nail on the head with his final comments about "why" someone would choose this headset. So for me, I wanted something that would work well with whatever game I choose to play 'Check'. And though I'm keen to get back into MP play on my PC, I didn't want a massive mic sitting under or around my peripheral vision nor do I want a mic that will weigh down the one side of my headset when it isn't in use. Personally, I have a very good quality stand alone mic that I'd prefer to use over the Razer version, but until I try it out and check out the difference then I'm not 100% sure what direction I'll go in. The sound reviews all speak positively about this product and I'm excited to get mine arriving this week coming. Price wise it is high, but then all good quality headsets are these days and I feel this product will give me my bang for buck compared to the cheaper units, both on quality, comfort and general robustness. Amazon UK also allow you to spread the payments of this unit over 5 months, bringing the price down to £30(ish) per month, which is like buying in a takeaway per month - so pretty easy to make this unit less hurtful on my wallet. Really looking forward to trying it out and whether the memory foam around the ears is going to promote sweating... luckily the room I am in is lower than average room temps, so should mean the foam takes longer to heat up. Only time will tell.

Do you have to go through the settings of the PlayStation 5 to deal with game chat volume etc?

works good, i use them for school (6h) and another homework meeting (1h 30) and sometimes gaming (3h) they are great since on full charge, they last 24h tho i think (not sure) with the ps5 or/and xbox you need to use it wired (included with the headset) do some research tho don’t take my word for it. music is pretty good with it too, so for all day use it’s great
