July, 1940. After the heroic evacuation of Dunkirk, the Luftwaffe set their eyes on mainland England. Never in the field of Human conflict was so much, owed by so many, to so few. The Battle of Britain had just begun.
With 64 players and over 200 AI, this has been our most chaotic and intense mission to date. Big shout out to WeBe, GentleSpie & Avarik as usual for their insane work. And thank you to WeBe for the video editing for this video that took 3 months to edit, a huge undertaking.

@lookupthereupinthetrees9860

@@gfingers9117 now theirs a discussion. Yeah, I'm not keen on the late model Spitfires with their Griffin engines and humongous props, and dramatically altered wings. Definitely the earlier models I - IX and the mark 8 actually came after the 9 (would you believe) and as far a hot looking I think the 8 was the hottest looking but still nice looking spitfire. But overall the nicest looking spits were the early ones. Just like the Messerschmitts. The later BF109's had all manner of bubbles and heavier guns that reduced a lot of the handling of the 109 and in terms of handling and appearance the 109F is the best looking but not produced in the most numbers. Nicer rounder looking spinner, the removal of tail struts and rounded wing tips and generally regarded as the best 109 to fight or fly with. But when I'm not staring at sexy looking Spits and 109's and I wanna look at something that looks so tough I cannot take my eyes off the Tempest V. I loved it before I read 'The Big Show' by Pierre Clostermann and now I love it even more after reading that book (awesome book by the way). I have building a 1/5 scale RC replica of hes plane on my bucket list. My God, you've got me started. We haven't even got to the Dehavilland Mosquito yet...😅🤣

The reason why the German air force could never defeat England cause England had chain radar towers form the north coast to the east coast of England which gave RAF a 20 minutes heads notice when German planes were over the English channel. The RAF had a total of 750 planes where as Germany had a total of 4,000 planes dedicated to the battle of England when Hitler postpone Operation Sealion to green light Operation barborossa the RAF had no planes left but the German air force suffer heavy plane loss due to the aid of Radar towers that England had but due to Hitler's stupidity of his fixation on the CCCP he allow England to recouperate there loss's at the same time USA shipping Vital war materials to England so England rebuild its RAF.

I am a Canadian and my great grand father a part of the RCAF (Royal Canadian Air Force) served in the bombing campaigns over Germany and survived to tell me stories. He may not of served during the Battle of Britain but he did technically server the RAF. He was a tail gunner for a Lancaster and flew over 100 missions 50+ being pathfinders. He was awarded the distinguished service cross for his actions. He was credited with I believe only about 5 kills including an fw-190. 5 kills doesn't seem like a lot but that was actually quite good. Little family lesson from me (:

This was amazing guys, I really got so in to it, gutted when it finished. Quite a few laughs along the way too, you should all be proud of yourselves. I can't wait to see more movies/videos like this. I also loved the references to the actual Battle of Britain movie. Done a really good job, well done lads :)
Ducking amazing effort. Perfect example of perseverance, skill, Immaculate airmanship and dog fighting skills. Not to mention the acting and voice overs. Bravo!!!

What's the significance of that?
A little late, perhaps, but that "In Memory" section at the end could be a standalone "Lest we forget" video. Absolutely a gorgeous tribute. Geoff Knorr and Michael Curran really hit it out of the park with that rendition of "I Vow to Thee, My Country".
This just reminds me how much fun it is to go against historical enemies rather than a mixed nation vs another mixed nation
When you see the burnt out Sherman’s on the beach and know exactly which map that is lol
absolutely incredible well done chaps, Massive respect for the ending as well
Just one of several reasons War Thunder is a game unlike any other. It’s in a class of its own.
The story, the budget, the CGI, the action, the actors this flick got it all! So cool to see a gaming community do something like this together! mad props!
I need to be in a event like this or the Dunkirk one. this is how war thunder should be played.

Teraz tylko czekać aż odtworzą "303 bitwa o Anglię" było by fajnie
omg they recreated the polish chatter scene with squire, so good.
It’s maybe hard to believe but the music from the film wasn’t made to stigmatise any nation as victor. It was written to show both are nations who’s airforces during this war fought like chivalry knights of the air. Having their own code of not shooting those who bailed. And giving full military honours, for those Luftwaffe pilots that died during this battle.
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. All I could think about was all the men, and their sacrifice. Brought back memories of my Dad who fought in WWII. A few tears were had.

What makes it even better is (I'm fairly sure) that The Mighty Jingles was the one saying that.
Just found your channel today and I’ve just got to say these films are some of the best, most creative, most well edited vids I’m ever seen on You Tube. Absolutely bravo sir. Everyone involved in this was excellent. I’m massively impressed.
This is so well made, the editing and music, the formations, even the language that each side spoke. Credits gave me goosebumps lol, I hope to see more :))
Repeat please! It has been a real privilege to be a part of this! Loved every second! Thank you all!
I loved this. My only issue is there is no German subtitles. Other than that, this video is incredible and to think you guys did all this in a game is mind blowing. Well done chaps

We don't need subtitles to know the Germans are talking about something well engineered in a clinical fashion. Just like the British is always Tally Ho ,smoke me a kipper I'll be back for breakfast.
