I double dipped purely because of the Kung Fu Bob artwork but i agree definitely not Jackies best which is no fault of his because they didn’t allow him to unleash his genius & played it safe. Excellent unboxing George 👍.

Yeah me too, I'm guilty as charged. I just did a preorder on all the upcoming 88 and Eureka HK flicks and went over $300 Aus. However, life is short and these bring me so much happiness ☺

Yeah, keep an eye on Ebay and HMV etc as they will have them also :)

I didn’t have the original 88 Films release of this or Snake and Crane so that made it definitely made it worth picking up for the collection in their deluxe forms!

I was so looking forward to this, having already got the first release from 88. However, I’m really disappointed about the quality, I think the quality is rubbish. There is just so much noise on this print I cannot enjoy it. I mean there are clips on the Blu-ray extras that show that there is a better print out there of it? Also, I don’t know if it’s just me, but they seem to be cutting down on the extras that they give us, mainly no booklets? No poster or booklet, or anything for the Medallion, no booklets for either Magic Crystal or Last Blood…. Other company releases are starting to look way better in my opinion.

While I could see the difference in some shots, I think I actually preferred the original release to be honest. And yes, aside from their Deluxe Edition releases, 88 Films are cutting back on things which is a shame. Hopefully they will change their ways soon enough :)

I didn't preorder this one, I like the art but I've already got the original and I'm holding out to see whether there's enough new stuff on disc to warrant another near thirty quid.

The vast improvement in A/V quality alone is worth it, trust me. All other releases of this totally suck in comparison.

I do think it looks better than the original 2k release because the original one looked like it was zoomed in all way through it just looked odd

Maybe I missed that - I'll get back to it one day, but either works. I guess we don't need both, so this new edition would be the better in the long run :)

While not Jackie’s best I do really enjoy this film. I was 14 when this was released in the States and it was a big deal as our first introduction to Jackie besides his small role in The Cannonball Run. Nostalgia is strong with this one.

I felt the same for a long time, but just felt it hasn't aged well. I still enjoy going back to it now and again, but always think of just what could have been had they let him be him :)
