Nah not Barnsley usually have a few up for it home and away ,I worked with some of them and if the truth be told ,there usually up there at the top.of banning orders I'm old school ,and I think if it was 80 s scenario here and no cops ,which believe it or not was what it was like I think Cheltenham fans wouldn't be about ,it would just be Barnsley the much bigger mob cruising the boozers ,looking for a fight but not always getting one ,I'm a blackpool fc fan and before people start I'm going back 40 yrs ,so most of you know fk all but we had two main firms and a young suicide lot ,who even had quite a few Scottish with them to make things more crazy ,rangers and Celtic youth some stayed down in blackpool and joined us ,so we had a tasty crew places like Crewe like I said we d go town ,no Crewe and Wigan what few ran away ,York nothing took it over ,but our most famous takeover on a great day for us ,was sheff wed a real proper firm OCS mob and it's very true ,because when I ended up doing a thatcher 6 monther nick I went to ,I came across or should I say one of there top boys ,found out I was from blackpool shook my hand about that day when we did em proper ,and scattered from city centre as they say back then every dog had it's day ,if they had enough numbers to show up we even turned out ,in 80 s when boros Frontline brought 7,000 to blackpool , absolute mayhem from 10 am in a morning boozers getting smashed ,people getting kickings and at one point I noticed 3 cops near castle pub ,well known in blackpool just stood there laughing while it was going off all around ,we got on our toes 500 came out of the castle 100 of us had a go but bodies lying all over ,ran up to central pier there were hundreds more boro ,already fighting with some other blackpool after all that we got to ground ,in south stand our kop was closed to home support by then ,but strangely boro had 5,000 on it and more in part of scratching shed ,anyway just as we got in there was battling in our end ,then from top tier they chucked em down to us and they got smashed again 150 about in our end ,there was fencing up back then so couldn't easily escape ,but they got backs to fencing and blood everywhere they wanted more lol ,the cops finally arrived and got em out ,can't remember score but as usual we went home to estates sat go out sat night trousers n shirts or you wouldn't get in a club ,by time we walked back to town boro had found out ,our main pub near train station rammy arms a couple of scouts went in there ,came out white faced followed by 100 s boro went off all over town till late that night ,the good news nobody died lol .

Mate as an fgr fan they’re all pussys the lot of them and they’re all kids, most of us lot got split up into small groups of 4s and 5s after the game all over Cheltenham and they only came for us when we was in small groups and they were in 20s 30s 40 etc but they didn’t do shit when we was all together. They’re fucking lucky twats we all got separated and yet they still ended up getting battered and running away back home to go do their homework

Beats sitting around playing computer games. Some actual inter-person communication and even some physical contact happening. In a society so devoid of person to person contact, especially physical contact, anything available at this point is a bonus. Police were interfering and attempting to repress the situation, using the threat of violence and actual use of violence. That kind of behaviour usually exacerbates any mental health issues present in those they are attempting to limit and repress. It's all very toxic. Despite everyone being adult (apparently) it looked like the same dynamics that goes on in primary schools, all be it with batons out.
