They both work, but the original was the one that was shown for years on Superfriends, they got that one just right.

Grew up playing with my dads old toys that were in crummy condition, this being one of them. Even I, a 2000s kid prefer the old one. My dad wouldn’t let me near his joes lol

Kenner all day. My top 3 Batmobiles Kenner Super Powers, Batman TAS and Batman ‘89. I definitely prefer my Batmobiles to be super heroic cars instead of tanks or tumblers. The McFarlane one is not bad as it’s own design but I feel that if you’re going to depart that much from the original why even bother trying to claim it’s the Super Powers version. Would also love to see a toy version based on Norm Breyfogle’s art for that Lamborghini on Bat-Roids look.

"The next round is articulation. And...yeah..." LOL. I actually own the original and the box (Don't ask how much I had to pay for that ... I didn't have that one as a kid - I got Toybiz Batmobile and then Kenner movie and animated series). But, yeah, the McFarlane one does look pretty cool. Props for making it a two seater like the original (there weren't many of those after the Toybiz one). Thanks for showing the Brave and the Bold Batman in there. Nice to see he can fit in the McFarlane one. Great video. I've enjoyed your content quite a bit since finding it recently. Thanks again!

@@5POAFigureReviews Thanks for the reply! Yeah, at least is right! :) Curious - how does a Spin Master Batman figure work in the McFarlane Super Powers Batmobile? Obviously they wouldn't be too big, but are they too small or does it work? Also since everybody's been doing a Batman '89 Batmobile it'd be cool if Todd did one for Super Powers. He is doing a black suit version of the recent Super Powers Batman after all. The Spin Master one lacked any fun features - they put them all on the RC version which looks amazing!

I don’t have either of them yet but aesthetically I think McFarlane’s looks better but I wouldn’t be surprised if the Kenner one had more play value

I’m gonna have to go with the og. I do like the new one, but if they were both available. I’d def go with the og over the new model. Also the og is the one I grew up with.

Thanks so much! Yeah, this is a really nice Batmobile. Honestly between this, the McFarlane Keaton, and the new Spin Master it's been a great year for Batmobiles

Got mine this Chrismas. It is a great vehicle, but I'm starting to hater the ram being activated by that bat symbol in the front. It is way too easy to activate it by mistake. And the painted front lights are just meh. But I do love the orange glass and sets, the wings in the back and the big-size weels. Still, the original one is way better because of the several action features and those being activated by controls in the car driving position itself, much like Batman, and not you, is the one activating it.

The new one is a great design. But I did pass on it purely for space issues. I have the original super powers Batmobile and the McFarlane 66 Batmobile in my Super Powers display. Hope they do the 89 in the superpowers scale. Keep up the great work

I own both. Still have my og 1984 in it's box. It's better hands down. I do love the Wirlybat and I do hope the line continues and Macfarlane fills out the roster of 1975- 1980s DC. Kara, Barbara, Dinah, and Selina all deserve figures.

@@5POAFigureReviews The Wirlybat is an interesting piece. I like it a lot. I don't care for the Batman who Laughs or Flashpoint Batman as these are not '80s characters. I think the timeline needs to stick to '75-'90.

@@5POAFigureReviews the kenner prototype sketches feature it. I was very close to rush out and buy the new one, but I still have a kenner in excellent condition. I dig the new one fine, just needed a lil more effort for me. Underneath my Kenner one, it looks like he has freaking hover jets. Prob my fav toy vehicle ever.

Great review. I really like these batmobiles. They’re both really cool. For the longest time I didn’t want McFarlane figures because I wanted ones to go with my 6 inch figures. Then I ordered Batman and joker. I was happy. The same may happen with super powers. Also, I’m trying to grow my channel but I’m not gaining any new subscribers. Any tips to grow my channel? Most friends don’t really like dc stuff sadly. You’re one of my biggest inspirations to make figure reviews too.

I love the kenner one. Not a fan of this. I really wanted to like it. From the side the new one looks to zanny, which is fine, just not my style. Don't like the choice of windshield and the fins, wish they wouldnt have strayed as far from the original. Oh well, im glad others like it.

They actually did make the super mobile! Though it's more like a shuttle with fists. I have a review of it on the channel along with Darkseid.
