Batman And A Custom Batmobile |
Ойын-сауық
I've been wanting to build a custom Batmobile for a while and here it is in 1/25th scale and with a full custom interior and computer system.

I thought this Chrysler Atlantic Concept Car had a great look that suited the world of Batman down to a T. Do you have any other cars in mind that would suit? Scale Calculator: www.scalemodelersworld.com/online-scale-converter-tool.html
Very cool! I want to see this style of Batmobile used in the movies.

Excellent build! The Chrysler Atlantic's neoclassical lines makes for a very good Batmobile!

I agree. It gives it a nice gothic feel.
I'd say that you win the prize for an alternate universe batmobile! Covering up all the panel spaces give a ultimate futuristic feel to the car because a person wonders how they got at the engine, until they saw the turbine engine sticking out the back! Some cars just look better in flat black, and that is certainly true for this one as well! Excellent file for the dark knight as well, he look Uber cool in that pose. Your customizing takes me back to the days when my and a friend of mine created our own RPG where we had massively over powered cars with computers in them that ran everything, including the weapons systems that the car had hidden inside the body. Miniguns beobhind the headlights, SAM & STS missiles and a few other nasty surprises, putting the computers in the passenger seat was what we did as well! So I certainly was taken back to my teenager days! LOL Thanks for sharing your kit bashing episode with us, I really liked it a lot, and you couldn't have chosen a better car for it, it makes a seriously retro Batmobile! CHEERS!!!

Mega cool build! A technique I learned to help avoid paint bleed under a taped edge: After you've masked off the area, paint the masked off area with the same exact color of the object you masked, and then let it dry for a bit. The bleed will still happen like usual, but it will just be the same exact color as the object, and that paint bleed will fill most of/all the spots where bleed can happen. When you paint the color you want the unmasked area, there won't be any paint bleed!

May I ask, how did you match the curve of the fins to the curve of the bodywork? It looks like it would be very complex to get it exactly right the way you did. Great video and love the result, thank you.

I kinda guessed in Blender when I was creating the 3D model and then some minor sanding to get it right.

the one thing I find weird is the direction Batman is jumping over the hood, he's not jumping from the driver's side, but the side with all the computers. it's like he got out of the batmobile, walked all the way round just to jump over the hood
@ScaleModelGeek
Жыл бұрын
What makes you think he's leaving the car and not urgently returning to it?
@MJRLHobbyStuff
11 ай бұрын
@@ScaleModelGeekyep, looks like he’s just run up to the car, parked, and he needs to get in quickly, so he’s jumping over instead of going around. OR he was standing on that side of the car, and some kind of ambush or explosion happened and he’s trying to get to cover on the other side of the car
Can I purchase this one or do you do commissions? Also...where did you find the Batman figure to print?
