The story seems pointless. Anyone who knows Batman knows that he would perform that test as soon as Damian hit his door. He takes nothing for face value. He would have used his own equipment and confirmed this already.

@@freshavocado4755 that's something I never really liked about Damian. Oh I don't care that he's not adopted but the attitude a lot of writer's have is that Damian is Bruce's only real son. Like I get blood relations matter to some people but I figure batman' s better than that considering he already adopted 3 kids.

Could have saved a lot of time just by heading down to Maury Povichs studio and tossing around a few chairs.

So Bruce did all of this instead of taking a DNA test? He basically told Slade he's Batman and despite entering the batman cave from Wayne Manor, Slade still can't make the connection. This story made both characters a complete joke.

Slade points out that it doesn't matter. Knowing who Batman is does nothing for him. Bruce is too smart to let that be a weakness. Bruce Wayne (fakes) is constantly active all over the world while Batman is in Gotham. So at this point Slade assumes that Bruce Wayne being Batman is a defection, an obvious conclusion to distract people from the truth. It's actually kinda smart.

He did multiple DNA test that said he was the father. The problem is that there were two other labs that did test and got results saying he Slade was the dad. This was information gathered by Tim Drake as well. At the end of the day, Talia was playing a game in the end. It was a fun story best read all at once. His Damian team up was fun.

DC needed an excuse to have a Batman vs Deathstroke. All the running around and gaining Intel was dumb. Kind of made batman seem dumb knowing in theory he probably did a DNA test as soon as Damian popped up or as soon as the accusations were made just do a DNA test. Smh. But I love the scene on how deathstroke figures out who batman is, super cool.

That is my exact sentiment. So DC is telling us the second most paranoid superhero next to the question who has billions of dollars of equipment in the Batcave that can analyze pretty much anything, doesn't have the equipment to do a simple paternity test.... REALLY!?!?

Oh I'm not denying that other characters have it. There are plenty who do, I just enjoy hearing that bit of glee in Rob's voice when he calls out Bats for having it. It just sounds like his day got better when he could point it out lol.

Yeah, That was great, even though you "know" Damon is Bruce's son. But to question it and to have Slade as the possible real father made for a great study on the these character and learn more about them. Great story, can't wait for more!

I read the first part of this story arc. Wow this looks great ! Keith David Rob. David starred opposite of piper in "They Live" . He was voice if Goliath and Spawn. He asked was it the franks or beans in " Something about Mary"

Daaang this is some deep stuff in this story... i think damien went with the whole slade being his dad thing to try and figure out the motivation behind making him think slade was his dad,and to find out if slade was responsible for the results switch.

The story arc had some slow parts but MAN WAS ISSUE 34 SO GOOD!!! HOLY MOLY!!!! That seemed like the finale with the fight and the banter between Batman and Slade. Last issue had a nice wrap up and the part with Jericho was very nice but man that fight with Batman and Deathstroke is what I want to see in a live action movie.

@Comics Explained Rob, I don’t, I didn’t think I would ever say this: this episode has enough interesting information for maybe 12 minutes tops, but you stretched to 20. This not at all your best showing, which floors me because you produce consistent, high quality and nearly ALWAYS perfectly timed. I liked this story it was really fun story. Also this was the best Batman v Deathstroke fight since the one in New 52 with Harley Quinn. Did anyone else think of Naruto vs Sasuke like how they were going at it until they were reduced to just punching. I also think the conclusion was fair. They were evenly matched each with their own advantages over the other but Deathstrokes healing gives him the win at the end of the day. I love Batman but seeing it hear neither side handicapped I can't really fight this conclusion. I'm definitely going to start looking into Death Strokes run in Rebirth.

You're both wrong. He's an anti villain. An anti hero will do bad things for good reasons. An anti villain will do good things for bad reasons. Deadpool and Deathstroke are anti villains. The Punisher and Venom are anti hero's
