It’s not just the glasses it’s the whole personality kal-el put into Clark since he was found by Jonathan and Martha as a baby and willingness to not use his powers in every day situations like Perry chewing him out over covering Batman instead of the football game he was sent to Gotham to cover and Laurence Fishburne is the perfect way to race swap a character and not loose anything about the character cause when perry is chewing Clark out over the football game it still feel like Perry which says a lot about the writing and the acting ability of Laurence Fishburne

If that's a nerd, Clark is the coolest nerd i ever saw since Tony Stark.

Thing about how Perry's peering intently at Lois and Clark at this scene. Remember, folks...in "Man of Steel", Perry was THERE to witness Superman's and Lois's first kiss--and the film emphasizes that by cutting to his reaction. And here he's witness to an affectionate exchange of looks between Lois and Clark. Question: Does Perry know...?

I think he does. When Lois asks him for chopper before Supes fights Batman she says, "It's not for a story". The look in his eyes shows he acknowledges the emotional connection between her and Supes. Then he is at Clark's funeral. I think he knows.

I like to think that he does. After all, he (and Jenny) attended Clark's open-casket funeral, so they know for a fact that Clark Kent died. With Superman returning around the same time as Clark Kent, it shouldn't be hard for two reporters to put it together. I think Clark has found people he can trust with his secret and I think Perry's been covering for Clark this whole time. It's even suggested in the comics (in Batman: Hush, specifically) that Bruce Wayne thinks Perry White is too good a reporter not to know and that Clark has someone he can trust in him.

So many of these small scenes were needed in the theatrical cut. Ultimate Edition is way better. May not have fixed all the problems, but 10x better for sure.

Every character in this movie is phenomenal. Even the minor characters. I mean as a kgbeast adaptation, one character is lame but in general he's good. And honestly superman (not Clark kent) is pretty boring. You can disagree but although he has good scenes he also has no personality. Cavill is great casting.

I don’t know why he’s called a “nerd”. Yes, he wears glasses, but other than that, this portrayal of Superman is not nerdy at ALL.

It's in the ULTIMATE edition. The literal ultimate and best version of BvS. The edition of BvS that was meant to be watched.

I wish they had played up and emphasized the dorkiness and awkwardness of Clark Kent when he's at the Daily Planet, it helps to better sell the illusion that he's no one special. I mean you look at Henry Cavill!Clark Kent and your first thought probably isn't going to be, "oh, what a nerd". It's probably going to be: "how fast can I rip his shirt off!"

Superman is hardly dorky in most iterations, but the prominent one would be Christopher Reeve's version. In the beginning, he was described as a mild-mannered reporter, but not dorky.

DCAU version of Clark was very similar to his Superman alter ego. He actually didn't distinguish himself by being dorky or quirky, because his journalism was important to him, and he wanted to be himself while he was doing what he loved.

hellen la esmeralda llegó 9 meses tarde: Están hablando de como lois oculto un hecho acerca de su "estadia" en el sahara y de como ella estaba investigando el evento sin decirle a clark. Después de eso aparece perry white para encomendarle a clark la tarea de hacer un reportaje acerca de "los amigos de metrópolis" y dice que alguien ordeno que fuera clark el que específicamente hiciera ese reporte (después sabemos que fue lex porque sabia su identidad secreta y porque quería juntar a clark con bruce y burlarse de ellos y de como el estaba manipulando los hilos para una pelea entre ellos).

Mohammed Benali Well, there IS the bathtub scene, with her glorious legs...and glorious everything. And in the Ultimate Edition, just before she investigates Wallace's apartment, we see her lounging on the couch, her legs propped up and prominent.

She's the better of all the Lois', but I thought she was a bit too understated. And opposite Henry the chemistry is awkward sometimes.
