POV: you got the right people to play the lead roles for the slow burn arc

Something about the "Of course I care I bought a new tie!" was hilarious to me.

Its incredible how much more relaxed and confident Clark is when talking with Lois than he is with Lana. Always giving her sass righr back to her. Great acting on Tom and Erica's parts.

This teasing-relationship made Clark much less boring.

I love how Clark in smallville is so sassy and straight to point with Lois. Compared to the famous Superman films with Christopher reeves where he’s just nerdy and shy around Lois. Smallville really does change a lot when it comes to Clark’s future. Lois finds out his secret and even meets him in high school, as opposed to the original store line. I love it.

I think he was impressed by Lana. He also was with Lois but he always had a thing for her. I think Clark in general not just in Smallville has a great Heart and recognize the person s with the same trait.

@@oktaniyah Impress is a form of admiration and a great respect for someone so the world is definitely accurate in here. And if I'm not mistaking he has said it to her Lois and even Chloe during the show . Just like Martha have said it to Lois. Plus I said in my opinion.

She made him feel like easy, fun and human again. Lana was always about feelings, secrets crying..ohh geez gurl.

How people say there was no chemistry between them???? They went from enemies to frenemies to friends to coworkers to allies to lovers. SLOW BURN at it's peak. Even when they "hated" eachother they were always checking on eachother, teasing eachother and being jealous of each other relationships... They became their best self while being together. They where a funny and pretty dynamic couple...

Wow. I did not appreciate the Lois and Clark friction back in the day. I was such a Lana lover. But honestly, she was the bomb. She was a great Lois. And their friction made great fire. Clark's cool goodness against her fiery fierceness really hits. Damn. Good job, Smallville.

Loved Lana, but Erica as Lois was just god-tier casting...

I liked lana but it was so obvious from the start that they just weren't going to work (which may be just excellent acting/storywriting). I wasnt sure how true to the lore the show intended on being when i started watching it so i didnt know that lois would show up. But there was even little run of chloe and clark, even they had more chemistry.

He was happier with Lois he only smiled around her

They make me believe in love.

They are the best at their roles the best Clark Kent Welling best Lois Lane is clearly Erica Durance no one comes close to just how well she plays the role.

The chemistry between the two is one of the best I've ever seen in fiction as a whole. What irritated me about this series is that the writers pushed Clana as far as they could. Honestly, they should have gotten rid of her after season 3.

Erica Durance is the quintessential Lois Lane for television. I have yet to meet her at a convention. I already have half of the leading ladies of Smallville in my autograph collection. It used to be three leading ladies, but some of the past actions of Allison Mack removed her from the list. I met Kristen Kreuk last September, now I'm waiting for Erica.

In a multi verse episode Clark and Louis actually guest starred in it on the original set of smallville. It was a cross over series of a whole bunch of DC shows but I think it was in a supergirl episode because that's where it started.

knew there was always something off about lana and chloes characther, not surprised they were both involved in nvmixm.

I love the tie scene. I literally had the same conversation with my cousin, (well, it was her prom, not a job, but the “I bought a new tie” quote is perfect. )

While Kristin played Lana's convictions and conflicts very well, Erica brought much more comedy into the fold. The writers made a very smart move in changing Lois into being Chloe's cousin, so they shared some common attitude traits. But with regard to the sarcasm factor, Erica amped things up by like 100 times.

at first, with lana, what you see is what you get, like she was nice, sweet, beautiful, soft hearted etc. but when she became darker, even though clark doesn't want to admit it til the end, clark knows that his feelings for her changed. still love her in a way, but even lana realize that deep down inside, clark have may been wondering if lana is the one for him... but he's been raised as a gentleman and raised to be a good man that always responsible for his actions, so clark (whether he realize it or not) feels that he will and should love lana no matter what. that's why even though he already fell for lois before chloe's wedding,but he's still try his best to make their relationship work once again (which i really hate the writers doesn't add great conflict there, it should've been great conflict for clark because he also realize he had deep feelings too for lois. the writers should've add that there and lana will notice clark's feelings for her not as deep as clark's feelings for lois...) as for lois, what you see is only a tip of an iceberg, what clark saw at first only the surface, like she's being bossy, rude, annoying but still we all can see very clearly that despite all that, they still have great chemistry and clark unknowingly always smile widely when he's with lois... but when clark saw beneath the surfaces and saw the real lois, how warm her heart really are, and how in her own way she always sees right through the heart and loneliness of the blur/clark.. he fell in love so deep to her that he feel like he doesn't want to live in a world where lois doesn't love him.. that's why it took so long for clark to realize his feelings for lois. lois was raised to be a tough girl so she tried to hide her soft side from anyone, but she open up to the blur, that's why it's easier to clark fell for her after that... when lana left, clark of course sad and heartbroken, but he still stand firm.but when lois was missing, he loses his ground and pulled away from everyone and from the world, treating himself no longer as 'a person that also need love' but only 'a person that should only dedicate his whole life only to help people in need'. he loses his happiness entirely when lois disappeared... :)

Prom in Season 4. A wannabe queen bee gets into a car accident and is exposed to a lot of kryptonite. It causes her to astral project from her injured body, and she starts to possess people, starting with Martha Kent. Her ultimate goal was to be the prom queen. Rather pathetic goal, actually.

Lios personality is similar to Chole but the two of them are cousins so I guess it make sense.

I understand that their relationship is a classic. But in this series Lana was stunning...

That Lois Lane, was a good Lois Lane in a show where a Lois Lane was not needed. She was pretty much the alibi for corny jokes and grotesque situations...

The one thing I didn’t like about Smallville was that they progressed Clark & Lois’s relationship too early before Clark becomes Superman.

Absolutely hated her when she came to the show lol. I wasn't familiar with comics and that they were the end game and was absolutely devastated. I always hate when comics do that you know, like Peter Parker and MJ were end game why bring Gwen Stacy to the picture, same here. Lana was my favourite of course. And MJ too. I just couldn't stomach Gwen. Like its so weird. I hate change i guess

Gwen Stacy was Peter Parker's 1st Girlfriend before Mary Jane Watson. She was murdered by the Green Goblin. The Death of Gwen Stacy is one of the Most Famous Comic Books of All Time. And Seriously...how can you not know about the Most Legendary and Famous Comic Book Dynamic Duo Ever? Lois and Clark? Superman and Lois Lane? Always and Forever linked since Action Comics #1 in June1938...the Most Famous and Most Valuable Comic Book in the World that started the Superhero Genre with the First Appearance of Superman and Lois Lane? Ring any Bells? 😂

They were pretty good together but God, I was hoping Clark ended up with Chloe. I feel so bad for Chloe and she is my favorite. They didn't have to stick with the lore.

I did not like this chick at all when she showed up, and I gave up on the show the next season.
