I was always blown away at how realistic batman looked on the title screen, and how many of the launch titles had graphics that were un par with early 80s arcade games

Electrocutioner was just chillin' untill Batman came to beat him up for his crimes , the dude wanted to escape through the wall , but wasn't fast enough . Batman could've also killed Electrocutioner because the dude was working the for Joker (the dude who killed Batman's parents) .

No damage on the Joker, wow. Nicely done. Shadowserg definitely learned to mind his surroundings!

So the ACTUAL Batman villians are Killer Moth- 0:15 electrocutioner- 1:32 Firebug- 4:15 The Joker- 5:15

Actually this game was made by Japanese company who wasn't really familiar with Batman rogue gallery, so all bosses beside Joker are original characters. In US version they just put name of some of batman enemies on them

The 8 bit era was the pinnacle of Sunsoft games.

Took me a week to beat the Joker (with a few hours a day of gameplay) and just passed it today! Its all about timing. Awesome game!

I know it's an old video game but I love how Batman just straight up kills the Joker. I find it funny how people have a hard time depicting Batman's no kill rule.

The boss music reminds me of Stardust Crusaders. And now I want to hear Batman's Stand cry. "NanananaNANANANANANANANANANA BATMAAAAAN!"

I guess you could say that Batman wasn't clowning around this time, eh Joker? Oh right, he's a bit too dead for that. But on a more serious note, who else was expecting the Joke to explode as soon as he hit the ground?

Finally got to see the ending to this game!! 👍👍

The first boss doesn't look anything like killer moth to me. I thought it was firefly. Also the last boss doesn't look like firebug. I don't recognize him

I remember this game when it came out. Sooo freaking difficult. I got really frustrated after the first stage. And the sequel was even more difficult, but I thought it looked like a Super Nintendo-game when it released.

I could not kill that first boss for the life of me (Firefly?) until I watched this video. I don't know if it was me trying what that guy did made any difference or if it was just luck but I appreciate you making this video for everyone!

Possibly the first case of a movie tie-in video game using villains from the source material who didn't appear in the movie as extra bosses.

First beat this back in 1991 or so. Just beat it again for the first time since then. Its still unbelievably difficult

The third boss with the stones reminds me of a boss from an old turbo Graphics 16 game called ninja spirit

My childhood game

Sunsoft had some awesome soundtracks in their games. This one, Festers Quest, Blaster Master.

Joker is basically the Riddler in these games. He makes Batman go to places only to do parkour and fight someone else.

I have feeling that some sort of game genie code was used. I remember getting damage when joker touches you.

If any enemy is flashing from damage then you can pass through them in that moment, a useful exploit when the Joker is running by (although not always easy to pull off).

I wouldn't even consider that an exploit, since it seems to me there's no other way to avoid damage with Joker. Now what happened with Electrocutioner here, that is an exploit of the nth degree.

I remember this game when i was a kid now iam 48 damm how time flies

I agonized for hours and days when I was like 8-10 years old to try to get past the 2nd boss. I never could. I would play this game at least an hour once a month for a few years as a kid but could never break through, it was pretty disappointing.

I had this game on my super Nintendo, it really tells the same story as the movie Batman (1989) and the songs are really the same, reminds me of LEGO Batman the video game (2008) I still play today hahahaha

That 3rd boss was a glitch or a fluke that he stayed looking at that side. I just won't bother getting off of those ledges until he explodes.

At the 4th boss, easiest and fastest way to kill one of the machine is just crawl at either of top wall. For some reason you will not get damage when collision with those machine.
