It’s just the Castlevania devs just being too lazy… then again, can you blame them? This game is already a wonders to play… I just wished that Albus mode is either tied directly to the story or is an alternate story where Albus is the protagonist but that’s just asking too much for an extra mode

@@James-oj6ru I always look back to something like Spider-Man (GC/PS2/Xbox) where there was an unlockable Green Goblin mode (did a playthrough on my channel) where they actually recorded some new dialogue and tried to make it fit into the story. It was still half-assed in certain ways, but I liked the effort. I also thought Julius and playing as Alucard and Yoko was cool in Dawn of Sorrow. I always find the other characters fun to play as and run through eg Maxim in Harmony of Dissonance, but it always just feels like more of a boss rush game than anything that properly fits. I still genuinely resent that we didn't get to play as Hugh in Circle of the Moon as well...

One of my favorite things Albus can do is utterly cheese Barlowe's punch combo. His back slide, at the start, has invincibility. With small projectiles, or very fast ones, if you slide into them, you'll phase right through. Not as easy as the touch teleport, but it feels and looks awesome.

I know this is a what if scenario but my headcanon for it is that Shanoa already used Dominus with Albus too late to save her, and Dracula has returned. But Albus found a different way to kill him, and along the way he fights his doppelganger or maybe a symbol of his deep grief (which may explain why the double screams for Shanoa and why Albus doesn't get EXP from him) and also Barlowe as revenge for him leading Shanoa to death... while Barlowe is also insane and for some reason sees Albus as Shanoa.

I just realized that the Goliath's death animation is the same as Raoh's death from fist of the north star

It's the standard Castelvania's sexy male walking animation. The developers love putting the moonwalk when you change direction. Mostly because a blood *moon* appears whenever Dracula is reborn

Order of Ecclesia is easily one of my favorite Castlevania of all times. It was harder than some other games released before it, it didn't present one single character related to the Belmont or Morris or Alucard as a playable character, and it didn't have a single one of the legendary weapons. While also featuring characters as charismatic as the Belmont and Alucard.

Can we just take a moment to appreciate that Dracula's animations are so fascinating to watch.

The ironic part is that he's really not trying. He doesn't even bother transforming because he doesn't recognize Shanoa as a threat.

It's Sanji with a gun, I approve. I also think that a lot of these battles would be over quicker if Albus simply had the ability to aim up.

One of the best Castlevania games ever made, and one of the most challenging too, imo! You made it look so easy, great job!

Agartha is a magic weapon, so broken in nature. Also it's the only gun in the serie to do actual damages to bosses.

Because Albus lacks overhead projectile attacks to hit Eligor's weakpoint, unlike Shanoa who has Axe glyph. All of Albus projectile attacks goes straight to the front. The only overhead attack he get is melee flame kick, which has a high risk of getting touch damage when its invincibility frame ends.

I found the exit from Dracula's castle now but I can't get to the boss even with Albus mode (I completed this game finally)

Why tho? The Albus run in itself isn't what happened in the storyline anyway,you're just in another dimension where you can fight on the same path than Shanoa so no need for that.
