I mean Batman even has multiple contingencies for HIMSELF. It's not that he doesn't trust the league, if anything it's the fact he trusts them so much that he felt he HAD to make plans like that. Batman even recognizes that he could be manipulated or controlled or fall to evil. Wielding power like the league has and just trusting that the power of friendship will make it all work is reckless naivety I do understand how you would feel some type of way about your friend having such plans, but the best way to move forward would be for each member of the core league to train specifically to counter each other. So rather than have a payload of info that can be stolen, instead each member is just naturally keen to how to combat other members. Thus if any one or two fall everyone already knows what to do.

Aquaman has every right to get angry at Batman. Aquaman carries a whole nation on his back and also has diplomatic immunity. While in the meantime the American government are in good ties with Aquaman, that doesn't mean the government isnt plotting against him and Atlantis. Their alliance is "shakehands" at the most. And Batman's contingency plans could easily fall to the enemy's hand, that includes the snakey American and British governments.

Lmao Rob mostly just emphasizes whatever the writers write in any given story he covers. Dude gets super excited about everything. Every one of his videos has some super uber cool/powerful omnipotent moment for a character. It's is like clockwork.

One of the greatest Justice League sotries ever told. This era of JLA comics is my favorite. That JLA title, the one with the big JLA in bold print on the cover, is my favorite monthly title for a team book or any monthly book.

Can I just say something real quick about Superman in this. Why is it that it's so difficult to show his intelligence consistently. Like right here with the Brainiac device. He's either the brute who punches things everybody's dad or Big Brother or the super smart alien. But he's never all those things all at once. They always have to downgrade him in an area especially whenever Batman's around. I'm sorry but if you got a downgraded character to prop the other one up . I don't know that just seems like BS to me.

Nice throw-back. I remember reading Tower of Babel as it came out, and it just blew my mind to see the entire League get neutralized so quickly. And when the "why" was revealed, I was like "Of course it was him. That's how he rolls. And I would have voted to keep him in, because I believe he was right. He was in a lose/lose situation, but he did what he had to do.

This story is essentially a mirror of the Justice League Doom animated movie, where Vandal Savage hires mirror master to steal Batman's contingencies plans to defeat the JL members.

If Plastic Man has time to adjust to temperature changes, they dont affect him as strongly. Its one of the reasons he was able to go toe to toe with a corrupted Martian Manhunter empowered by flame.

I absolutely loved watching this animation a couple years ago. I didn't even know the ending was a little different, but I like the animation one a bit better. Still a fantastic story overall.

This Reminds me of Batman Tower of Babel and WB's Movie - Justice League: Doom. Which both take Batman Contingency plans on the Justice League to make them dead or neutralize them.
