Mid way through the game, Bruce gets notified that there is a break in at Wayne Tower and that Lucius may be in trouble. You can go the moment it happens, like most do, or you can do it some other time. In this case, Hush waited, holding Lucius hostage, for Batman to show up... for hours.

It's always fun hearing Kevin Conroy doing different roles aside from Batman (he also voiced Hush) because it's rare to hear his range

Soooo Hush tracked down all of those people, even getting himself locked up, murdered multiple people and removed their faces, cut off his own face, recreated Bruce Wayne's face, and then.... decided to wait until the city was completely evacuated to steal some money from Bruce Wayne and kill him? All of that disturbing and intriguing build up from Arkham City and it's paid off by... pressing the counter button at a specific time... One of the biggest missed opportunities of this game.

Not many people have great skills, I believe Hush is just a great surgeon but wasn't that much of a fighter, he's using a gun for that reason... apparently, at least this is how they wrote him in the game. I mean The Riddle have a lot of tests but "mano a mano" we all know he's useless.

people say the counter was the payoff. not so. the payoff was elliots reaction that mentally broke him. even after bruces identity was outed, elliot is clearly broken. he is likely to spend the rest of his life in an insane asylum babbling incoherently about the bat who took everything from him. and that, that right there. is brilliant. we don't always need giant bosses to challange the bat. and hush clearly isn't on the same level as bane, killer croc, man-bat, mr freeze, or the countless other, stronger foes he faces. hell, take away his history with the waynes, and the fact he only thought bruces face would be enough to fool people, and he's just another thug. and he, while wealthy, did not invest enough resources to match bruces level of strenth. hell, he couldn't even guess bruces password. story-wise, the boss battle everyone wanted could not have happened. and i'm glad it didn't. it would have just been the riddler in a giant mech suit... which people also whined about.

@@supersmashbro596 To me the issue with boss fights is when you're facing ostensibly normal people enemies, such as Black Mask in the Red Hood DLC, Two Face in the Catwoman Arkham City final mission etc and they are so much more durable than the Thugs you fight for the rest of the game, I mean even armour can't justify it because you fight armored thugs throughout the mission, and a lot of boss missions don't even have armour, so if they can come up with a different way to deal with the villains, I'm all for it.

You know, as much as people hate what happened to Hush in this game, I think it's actually quite intelligent. I mean, at no point is Thomas Elliot in this series shown to be able to contact any super villains, and the actual plan in the Hush arc was constructed by the Riddler, so it makes sense that Hush would do this.

r0bw00d Riddler found out he had cancer, and went "screw this!", so then he took a bath in Ra's al Ghül's Lazarus Pit, which gave Riddler clarity, so then Riddler found out Bruce Wayne was Batman. He went to Thomas Elliot, who Nygma realized had a massive hatred for Bruce Wayne. There, Nygma shared Bruce Wayne's secret with Elliot, and concocted the plan, which was all possible with Thomas Elliot's wealth.

Positives for this side mission: the twist of when you were controlling hush when you thought you were actually Bruce, that got me and I thought it was cool Negatives: everything else 😑 it really was a wasted opportunity overall

Batman does have superpowers, he just hides them until it’s convenient and looks like it’s part of what he’s doing. ExhibitA: that two handed jump lift like he was lifting a 10 pound bag of flour and that one handed slam like he was ripping the blinds from the window.

I love using the 1989 suit and batmobile, it really brings the nostalgia of my favourite Batman movie.

All that setup in arkham city just for hush to get body slam in a side quest

I wish they did more with him. From the side quest in Arkham City it seemed like he was going to have a bigger part later on but not much came out of it. From cut content involving Clayface and Zsasz I assume the story would of been a bit different and probably involved Hush more but for whatever reason they didn't.

Honestly Tommy should have been the one working with Scarecrow, not Jason. In the comics, he and the Riddler recruited/manipulated the villains into taking part in a scheme to destroy Batman, and Scarecrow is even the one who first started calling him Hush. I have a feeling that's what Paul Dini was planning before they kicked him to the curb for the third game and hired new writers. WB probably also mandated that they use Jason instead because Red Hood is such a popular character.

@Shepherd of the West that's the real waste. Even if they copied and pasted the arkham origins fight, it would have been better than that. All the build up and nothing

It’s funny that the twist that the Bruce that walks into Fox’s office is completely spoiled if you do the mission post-gem, since the secretary is for some reason completely unaware that Bruce has been revealed to be Batman.

"My Face" - Hush shortly before Batman obliterates the rest of his body

I’m glad when I first played through this part I didn’t wait till the end of the game. It just feels a lot better when Bruce’s identity hasn’t been revealed.

Finally someone uses the Keaton Batman skin. Still looks friggin awesome.

"BRING ME BRUCE WAYNE!" "Ok..." Proceeds to remove cowl.

Hush: Bring me Wayne! Bruce: Bite me, Tommy. Have you seen the news?

That suit looks really cool when he can turn his head and move normally.

My God, Batman is Bruce Wayne's twin brother!

I love how Batman is "we find the criminal with the face of Bruce Wayne" and Alfred is all "ah yeahh your buddy your best friend that guy you know from your past master wayne" then i remember only batman can see the hologram

2:45 “He looks identical to Bruce Wayne.” Part of me knows he’s probably keeping his identity hidden from the receptionist on the seat near the door, but I like to also think that it’s channeling the idea that in Bruce’s head he calls himself Batman, not Bruce.

I love how in this one after they take down hush they don’t even talk about it

I think besides from Alfred himself, Lucius was one of the first ever people to know Bruce is bats, he runs his RnD division that supplies batman

I am pretty sure that the screen showing Alfred isn’t right in the secretary’s face. So I am sure as she is curled up in the corner on the opposite side of the room didn’t see Alfred. Also do you all truly think that Batman just has speakers on his bat suit blasting Batman and Alfred conversation. So once again unless Batman put the cowl on her head she didn’t hear. Smh. Come on people don’t just use your head as a hat rack, think.

Playing this mission after the main story is finished would be truly fitting.

3:04 That poor receptionist actually bought it. What’s weird, is her dialogue doesn’t change post-game.

Lucius Fox: "I know you'd never abandon Gotham", "Maybe that suit needs another upgrade". Either Lucius is foreshadowing the Knighfall Protocol or he is hinting at the next Arkham game!! I'm hoping like an excited school girl it is the latter.

Taking a slow,boring elevator ride down sounds counterintuitive to the glider cape option. Just defeats the purpose of its main function.

Batman : After tonight there will be no more batman. Mr Fox : Maybe that suit needs another upgrade.

Damn, I LOVE the way he looks with the '89 suit in this, it's like the end of Batman Returns with how far up the back of the cape goes to his head.

I love how he copied Bruce's face one by one, but can't figure it out who's Batman by the most obvious chin ever 😂

Wow that was lame; Hush is one of the greatest Batman villains ever and this is how they treat him in the game? What a disappointment

Brendan McCann ah I really liked the games, Especially this one, I thought it was incredible, Obviously they're were some issues, I wish the DLC was a hell of a lot longer, Playing as the other characters is cool, But those missions are like 15 Minutes tops, They should have made is so you could play as some of the Characters, Through the story like regular, or if you play New Game+, I would have really liked that.. I really hope there's more of them, Even if they aren't called Arkham, But with the Same gameplay

Wish they would have made it possible to change Batsuits within Wayne Tower... the addition of the two rising floor units is a nice touch, but don't offer anything else constructive. Let me change my suit in-game man!
