Though it does get mlre satisfying to beat him in each installment. Think about it: 1. You hear his incarceration once you solve the final riddle 2. You give Riddler a taste of his own medicine and save his hostages 3. You and Catwoman beat him senseless after all that trouble. Satisfying

The one thing all Batman's baddies have in common? They're broken people. People who have had their lives ruined by unfortunate events and circumstances.

I bet less than 5 percent of players lock up the riddler. I bet what's even lower is how many do it before they get rid of the joker. Making that line from joker about The Riddler probably the rarest thing in the game.

@@tysorestsl2898 So I found out. On one hand, that makes me relieved since it makes it easier to get right to defeating the Riddler. On the other hand, it takes away from that part of the game for me. I get something of a sense of accomplishment going through the game, hearing him get more and more worried, letting my frustration build up, and finally humiliating him. I know I should be glad to have an easy to route to Riddler, but I suppose I feel better when I take all he can throw at me and throw it back in his face. I must be a glutton for punishment that way, which would explain why I have been in the habit of playing these games on the highest difficulty level since I started them. Personally, the most irritating part of the riddles for me was that I would interrogate Riddler's thugs and get the locations of the riddles, then I would search the spot and find nothing there. As I later found out, Riddler places his riddles in different locations gradually over the course of the game so if something is not there, then it means he hasn't placed it there yet. It is different from the other games where all the riddles are in their proper locations from the start and it is simply a matter of figuring out how to get to each one.

@@LegoReader12345hello True and for me at least, it gives the impression of Gotham being under siege and Batman being pressured to do multiple things at once. At the end of the Gunrunner mission's if you talk to Penguin, he points out how Batman is tired and how putting him behind bars has taken a bit out of him. He then states that the human body can only take so much before it gives up. I guess I find that doing things this way really demonstrates Batman's struggle to both deal with the army he is facing along with the usual villains who are taking advantage of the situation. That's just me of course.

Yeah, but Batman can sometimes actually press his enemies’ buttons and provoke them, which is not always good. Just because you’re Batman doesn’t mean you can bully and insult anyone whenever you feel all the time.
