Bassano is a stopover for the next day to visit Uncle Scortegagna, who is making wooden cutting boards.
As the name suggests, it is famous for producing grappa, but it is much more than that.
Although it is a small town, its beauty and taste are outstanding, and the food stores, bookstores, and clothing shops are surprisingly nice!
I'm always surprised every time I visit, perhaps because of the quality of life and high level of culture.
This time, I stayed at a wonderful inn run by a French person. A comfortable room with a great view.
