Спорт
In this video, I competed in a kayak bass tournament on Melton Hill Reservoir. It was a fun morning of fishing with several largemouth and smallmouth bass being caught.

You have such a great sportsmanship attitude and such an enthusiasm in your videos. I could never see anything to dislike. Your a great fisherman and person, period! Thanks for another fun video!
Spit up my Mtn Dew through my nose when you said “oh boy, here come the professionals” 😂😂. Great job as always. I love finesse fishing too, but looks like I’ll have to go ultra light to keep up with you haha.
Never seen him bass fish in my life😂

He doesn’t do it often
Thought bass tourney fishermen horsed the fish in, you did it like a sportsman making it enjoyable to watch. Nice video.
The best feeling in the world (well, one of the best) is when that "tree limb" starts pulling back... hard.
7:00. Same Justin! We were there at Melton hill park. It was crazy from 5-630 then once the sun came up they were busting everywhere then around 7 when the sun came up they just disappeared.
Just wanted to thank you, I watch all your videos and absolutely enjoy them, your a great fisherman and a class act, really appreciate what you do, thanks again and look forward to the next video
Keep it up bro🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Well done man. Holding your own in bass fishing is very impressive. Keep up the good work and quality videos.
Thanks for sharing your day in the tournament. Looked like a bunch of fun.
Love seeing you switch it up and do some bass fishing!

So so true though... i feel your pain justin..
You are the true definition of a fisherman. Being able to catch multiple species. Some of my buddies ask why aren't you catfishing? If the white bass are hot 🔥 I'm on it. If the striper are running 🏃♂️ I'm there. When the shell 🐚 cracker are spawning its time to catch. Even though there is nothing better than holding a trophy 🏆 catfish. Catching any fish 🐟 is a sport second to none.
Those big ole logs in there and they are going that fast... that's craziness.. live tour channel brother... one of the best
I was worried the first cast bass curse was going to get you. That was a good day of fishing no matter how you look at it
Justin, you are a good all around fisherman. Take from a guy that's been fishing the TN river for 43 years
Awesome video Justin! I love watching you do what you do. Keep up the good work!
When you put the net on that second fish I almost died 😂😂😂 thanks again for another awesome video ✌️ we are so blessed to be living in Beautiful East Tennessee
That was an awesome video!! I love bass fishing and watching you catch some nice ones just made my day! Keep on fishin!!
Fun as always! I have learned so much from you and, well, also Richard Gene. You changed my life with the ultra light gear and Gulps - and cost me a bit of money too!!! Like you, I went to the 2.5 - 3.0 inch Gulp;s to run away from the bluegill but still have fun with bass, channels, and monster warmouths. The Nikko Hellgrammite is a killer for the same species and ultimately less expensive than Gulps ( cannot knock them off). Apologise to all for the long one.
Glad to see you do some bass fishing....they can be fun also👍🏻
What a pleasant person and a great fisherman. Keep up the videos.
Never would have thought you would bass fish in a tournament! Im loving it!
I feel your pain i missed 3rd place and money last year by 3 ounces ! Great video !
Watching you over the last year or so caused me to set up an ultralight rod this weekend, also used the same reel with a Lews medium light rod and 4lb test line. So far no fish on it but they will be!!
Going back and watching so videos i missed. Keep up good work bub
Love seeing the clear water your fishing. Everything around me is muddy. Another good video. I like the mix of species you cover.
BASS FISHING..... you're killing me..lol..😂😂.. just kidding.. i love ultra light fishing...
Didn't think I could enjoy watching someone bass fish but you have done it. Great video👍
Justin. Thank You for "taking me along" on your adventure. Been on the big lake (Lake Erie) for 65 years. been all over the lake, and fished for every thing in it; from pan fish to bass, walleye & pike. used to take a lot of guys out fishing; now, since i sold my lake boat, no one calls any more. that's why i enjoy going along with you so much! great trip...and "almost great" results. please keep up all the hard work; and the great video content. we all really appreciate all your efforts. best. walt (sub'd, like, bell'd, occasionally comment) & Have Watched Every Video You've Done)

Hey buddy congrats on a great tournament and I look forward to fishing with you again. The good lord was definitely with me that day because that's the first time I've ever caught a fish on top water in 21 foot of water. Much less an 18.25 smallmouth. Crazy day but it's always good to see you.
Nice drive today , Have ma good night n ill see ya next time
Good time and a strong run!
Awesome, good job.
Great video, love to see you go to Lake Fork Reservoir, monster bass and monster flatheads, saw two boats unfortunately catch a boatloads of flatheads and keep em ☹️
Man, this was a fun video. The Bass Gods will have none of your crap! LOL. Great job brother.

the C Series crappie pro by berkley at walmart is hands down my fav rod. it has back bone but also the most sensitive tip ever. fantastic ultra lite rod. for under 50$
That's the first time I've seen you do a bass fishing tournament. 3rd place is not bad. I was pulling for you. 😀
Well you did good brother. Looked like you had a blast... I need to order more gulp minnows.. they dont carry them in my stores.
This was was a good fishing video, from start to finish. I wouldn't mind for 1 or 2 ultra light video s a month. Also would like to see some more bank fishing it as something different too. thanks that was intertanning at least.
That st. Croix panfish rod is awesome isnt it. Love mine. My bait getter
Recently I’ve been having problems for the past few weeks getting catfish in in north new jersey I’ve been using cut bait and haven’t gotten anything at all I don’t understand what’s going on, I use to pull them outta the water all night a few months ago in the same spot and with the same tactics and ideas will help 🤙🏻🤙🏻
What the heck, Justin in a tounament catching ditch pickles!!! Does Catfish Dave know about this?? Lol, good job and great vid!!!
Lol “here come the professionals”!! Hahah
Nice video brother! Love the ultra light fishing!! If you ain't casting....you ain't catching....
Haha when he said it’s karma for using bass for catfish 😂
Damn. You making me want to give up on catfish for a while and break out my bass gear. Might as well. Got skunked again today. Good live video btw. A ton of good tips
Man I wish I could catch that many fish in one kayak trip. From cats to bass your waters are way better fishing
FISH ON SIR your videos are awesome.
I’ve been having some good luck with those gulp minnows. They are great. I’ve even had some good side (what you call dinks) catfish on them. Of course I was on 4 lb test line, so I couldn’t get it in. I can’t believe you netted that first small bass. Lol. That cracked me up. Sorry you missed by a quarter inch. If you really want to make them mad, keep all the bass in the tournament for catfish bait. Lol
My summer time bass fishing experience from 2 weeks ago on Lake Hartwell: 6:15am: First cast - fish Second cast - fish Buddy's second cast - fish 10 minutes later on different point: fish. fish. fish. 8:00am - no fish 9:00am - no fish 10:00am - no fish go home.
So cool!!
Good to see you change up the target fish every now and then.
You should fish on Norris lake it’s really close to mnt hill and is a lot deeper than mnt hill. I live in Powell if you know where that is and love your vids keep it up💯
Wow Melton hill lake, I grew up in oak ridge.
Good job and good video
Get that cheddar brother!
Nice! 👍
Hey is that a Abu Garcia Silver Max reel? I have on of them and it is great. Great video! I love ultra light fishing 👍👊
You caught some nice bass
A quarter of an inch !!! You'll do better the next time...Thanks for sharing, it was fun !!!
Justin Sounds like that lake has a stunted fish population. I know it sounds weird, but had a fish biologists explain it to me on a smaller lake around home . Glad you had fun.

I used to live on that lake. It flows from the bottom of Lake Norris and the water is COLD!!. It looks like he was fishing downstream, several miles, from where I was so the water was probably warmer there but still a little cool for largemouth. Where I lived the water was around 45 degrees even in June or August.
I fished the hill that day. I might have been one of the "Professionals" you spoke of. I talked to a kayaker at 7am that morning and he said he had a limit. Didn't know a limit was three 12in fish. I thought it was five 14in large or 18in smallies. I thought that dude was a fishmaster. Lol....
Awesome 👏
I've got two okuma ultralights, one 6-6 and a 5, lots of fun. For whatever reason I've used braid for mainline, although that's bit me in the butt when something bigger than I anticipate torpedoes through weeds. Does mono give up much to braid in sensitivity for it's better abrasion resistance?
I bet a senko would have done well late in the tournament. But what do I know lol. Them Gulps work well, but it's just not as likely to catch bigger bass on such a small bait.
great video....follow some guys on the Texas coast that fish Ultra light for 20inch plus redfish...it is an art and a lota fun.... @614 just after the "professionals" rocketed by, there was a log floating in the background...image your lower unit on a bassboat 250 hp merc hitting that at 50+mph ......been 40+mph many years ago in my brother's Bass boat.....sorry, not fun.........he's a kayak guy now.
Nice video, thanks! What reel is that you're using? If you don't mind?
I’d love to visit Tennessee and fish some day
Enjoyed it not knowing what was gonna happen
If you do not get excited when you catch any fish you should stay home it’s always fun to get out catch any kind of fish looks like you had a ball using the ultralight that’s a kick in the pants🐋👍👍
Alright the big question will you ever do anymore catfishing tournaments because I really enjoyed them.
No longer kayak catfish. Now officially kayak angler.
Try some 8 or 6 lb power pro on one of those ultra light rods...
