Most of Ronnie Radke's songs have deep meanings behind them. Especially as Falling in Reverse. Hes gone through (and beaten) drug addiction and prison time. He sings about his depression and low points a lot and how Hes accepted his past and has moved on

Ngl when you said you listen to Taylor swift I admittedly burst out laughing thinking "yeah you're not ready" Glad you stuck with it and even enjoyed it. Great stuff

Ronnie unlike many out there doesn't scream just to be screaming lyrics its only when and where it needs to be. Shit, I love this song.

His daughter is in some of their videos now. He has stated that she is his rock and what saved him from returning to the problems with depression and addiction he had in the past.

Always do the music video for falling in reverse. You won't get a copywrite strike from ronnie for reacting to, or listening to on a twitch stream. Ronnie is such a good guy

More than that, Ronnie likes reacting to people watching his videos. You might end up in one of his! And yeah, disclaimer is it could all be an act, but I don't think so. Ronnie seems very genuine. It's not all pretty, but it's honest. SUPER talented. Great guy.

The court room scene is a reference to one of the bands first major songs "The Drug in me is You" where they filmed it in the same court room.

The lyrics to this song are deep and meaningful, they are relatable or at lest I relate to them, and a great delivery in a style of music that puts a lot of power into the words. Just amazing.

“Basic white girl” and popular monster is something I didn’t expect to see. Now I have to watch this lmao

If you didn't listen to this song on good headphones or a really good stereo you are missing out. The speakers on a phone, laptop, or tablet doesn't do it justice. This song hits so fucking hard. I hope they put out some more music like this!

so (this is what I think the mv and song is about) Ronnie (the lead singer) has had a hard past he went to jail, got hated, was wrongly accused for a lot of shit, ... he struggled (or still struggles) with depression and anger problems and everyone was like "it’s just a phase" like tf no it isn’t. His now ex-girlfriend gave birth to willow (she is the little girl in mv) who changed his whole life... So when everyone thought he is like a bad person or a 'popular monster' Willow was like his 'light' or sth and showed him that he can be a good person (sorry for my crappy english btw)

I feel like "screamo bits" can act as an instrument for showing the feeling of anger, sadness and despair. When done right and during the right time, it can have an amazing effect on the storytelling and lyrics as a whole. I don't know if this makes any sense though, since I have a bias for screamo stuff and this is one of the best :D And awesome reaction too btw :D There are these three songs of their's that you would almost certainly like and I'm sure you will get spammed alot in this comment section about them xD

Like alot of people said, the little girl is his daughter. Ronnie was in prison for quite awhile. I feel it was good for him, he came back sober and what you hear is 100% him in sobriety. It literally changed his life for the better.

This song is just real. It can hurt but it's real and we all deal with it every day.

She is not the kind of person you would expect to like this kind of stuff but I love that its a nice shock factor surprise people when they ask what you are listening too

I feel like this song is a physical embodiment of how it feels to live with depression. At first you just talk about it. You try to express yourself with words only the people that are supposed to help you just tell you it’s a phase or you’re just going through a dark patch and it’ll be over soon. Then you start getting aggravated because it DOESNT stop. It keeps growing and growing and getting stronger and you are just completely drowning so you get a little louder, only no one around you helps. Everyone gives you the whole “god has a plan, he has a plan” and you can’t live with the fact that he could do this to you.Then you just snap. You break, you scream, you become the monster you believed you were the whole time, the one thing you were petrified of becoming and completely lose your shit (expressed by the physical change into the monster) and basically black out. When you come to, everything is ruined and you have no idea what you’ve just done and just sit there, horrified with yourself. This song shows the true pain, anger, confusion, and struggling that happened every minute of every day. It is literal hell and this shows that, especially towards the end. It’s a really good song all around

The first time anyone watches this and their mouth is open because Ronnie has em hooked is priceless. :56 Second mark for her. 😂

The thing about metal in general is that you need a single band or a single song to get you hooked and you keep falling down the rabbit hole. Metal is a large spectrum of sounds, from the extremely shouty to the more instrumentally heavy but vocally chill. My first intro to metal music was cica 2008/9 when some random girl on RuneScape (An online game played by thousands around the world) told me to listen to Dragging Dead Bodies in Blue Bags Up Really Long Hills by Escape The Fate (Ronnie Radke's old band, Ronnie Radke being the singer of Falling in Reverse). That song is definitely on the heavier side of the spectrum both vocally and instrumentally but it just blew the doors wide open in terms of the different types of music. Through that 1 song I discovered amazing bands like Slipknot and then amazing Rock bands like Rise Against. I think the screaming/growling is off putting until your ears adjust to the chaos and you begin to fully understand what's being said so it then becomes 100% about the content rather than how the content is presented. Also, this song is a masterpiece and I think on a certain level, our brains recognize good no matter what type of music you listen to usually

I was thinking basic white girl... wtf.. Falling in Reverse is pretty amazing.

As a metal fan, I laughed at the beginning that you’d react to this song, but oh my god you proved me wrong! I actually hated this band for awhile, and the second I heard this song… I related to the lyrics and it was on repeat in my house during quarantine. You gotta react to “zombified” now by them if you haven’t already!

Not too many know but I struggle with depression anxiety ptsd and paranoia and I love Jim’s music because I can relate

My main genre of music is rock and when I first heard this song, I was skeptical because it starts off with pseudo rap but once it gets to the chorus, it hits so well. The chorus is so good it makes up for everything else I'd usually hate listening to. Like, I really don't like cussing in any music I listen to and this song has multiple f-bombs with a mother-f in there which took some getting used to, to be able to enjoy this song. Also, even though my main music genre in rock, I don't like screamo stuff. If it's in the background layered with the main vocalist it's fine, but if it's front and center, nah. But, I also love IPrevail's cover of Blank Space so, sometimes the rest of a song is good enough to deal with parts I don't really care for. I you see this and still do reactions like this, I got a weird one for you. Powerwolf - We Drink Your Blood. The main guitar rift is so catchy and has pure head banging vibes.

This lyrics to this song are incredibly deep and disturbing. They aren't sugar coated. Millions of people suffer through depression and mental health issues (aka Popular Monster) only to be kicked aside by failed mental health systems. The video itself plays off these lyrics... and it's quite obvious that it's portraying mass murder from falling into psychosis. The lyric "I break down, falling into love now with falling apart, I'm a popular monster" is describing psychosis. Ronnie is a lyrical genius and an incredible singer!

Taylor Swift..You should check out , I prevail. They did a metal cover to blank space . I think you may enjoy Metal Swift

Great reaction! I'm a Swiftie too but I'm also a metalhead. I can understand about not liking it, what's important though is that you're willing to explore different genres. The band's lead singer, Ronnie Radke likes to put different genres into his music, so it's not all rock. You'll hear rap, hip hop, and even a little pop. I don't know if it's on your list but you should check out The Drug In Me Is Reimagined. It's more of a ballad, which shows Ronnie's versatility. It may be a long shot but I'm hopeful that some day there's going to be a Ronnie/Taylor Swift collab. I think they would make a bad ass song together.
