When I was growing up listening to ACDC and Maiden, I played my mom some GTR (spinoff supergroup) and she was like "oh, some nice music finally".... I'm glad times have changed.

and now she knows the reason why the phrase "we get it ronnie, you can music" exists. also dont just suggest to her drugs, suggest the whole trilogy (1. losing my mind 2. losing my life. 3. drugs)

Hello and really good reaction, Ronnie is a legend do not forget his band. They are talented.

Wow, and she hasn't seen "The Drug in Me Reimagined" yet. Talk about feeling it. The double reaction with old and new songs and Ashley would be really cool to watch.

Gotta show her the trilogy of course. As a singer he's been around 20+ years. With some "time off" in there, but still. Started in the late 90's with Escape the Fate. They were kind of punk/rock. When he formed Falling In Reverse their first album was similar, a strong punk vibe. He branched out and tried different things, there was some rap elements here and there. But he just kind of evolved into the stuff you hear from him now. I think he will always keep experimenting with different types of sounds, genres, etc... A lot of rock/metal bands are just formulaic and keep making the same thing over and over. Not Ronnie, he's a real musician, I'm along for the ride whatever he does.

This is just dope to see people who may not have been drawn to this particular kind of music to begin with find it and find themselves in it

I’ve been following this channel a while I just haven’t commented in a while. I listen to just about all genres of music. This band has tons if music out and The sound has changed over the years but I have always appreciated rap, metal and the many branches off each genre but he definitely puts it all together with a great spin on things with his many influence. I will have to find the other song I am thinking about and see if you both want to react. Great reaction on this from both of you , much love. After this video I will see if I can find one if the others that I heard live at vans warped tour in 2018. Unfortunately it was the last vans warped tour that showcased many great bands for years. Having been a fan since ETF and watching everyone go down the FIR rabbit hole, you might try and guide her in the way she will most appreciate them from their older stuff and leading into the newer stuff so she has some sort of idea about his life history and his history in music so that she can understand things a lot more and be able to really understand what's going on in the lyrics and videos. I've seen so many new reactors in the last few years just bouncing all over the place and being utterly confused bc they have no clue how to interpret things. I love the reacts though and I hope she starts down the hole as well! 💜💜🤘😊

If I had to pick a genre for Falling In Reverse, I'd say nu metal is the closest genre, because of the rap mixed with rock/metal. But sometimes he doesn't fit that genre either, so that's why most people just say Ronnie is the genre lol. Oh, and if you want other bands who sing about real life things and emotions, check out bands like KoRn, Slipknot, I Prevail, Five Finger Death Punch, Disturbed.
