@Ryurockswu2u I myself am 6'6 and in my 6 years of salsa dancing I came to the same conclusion Anthony told you - don't do stuff that requires you to go under the ladies' arms, unless they're really tall (or wearing crazy heels xD) Now depending on your local style, you could incorporate some "squat-turns" into your style - e.g. when you do the hook turn, if your partner is very short, instead of just turning, go down into a squat and back up, all during the turn. It can look quite good :)

@Ryurockswu2u Avoid combinations that require that you go over your own hand/arms. Actually, being tall is a HUGE benefit because you are in the best position to PROPERLY spin the lady from that height (being able to draw perfect halo's circles as they need for spinning). I would suggest focus on combinations that make the ladies spin a lot while keeping them stable (like a cross body lead triple turn). Some of the best dancers in San Diego are tall!

@Ryurockswu2u sorry to answer too, but i think a good idea might be to look for Super Mario workshops. He is quite tall, and usually taller than all the partners

You should post some of your combos on2 or at least start finishing them off with the on2 footwork. Transitioning has been a pain in the @ss.
