Baking soda is 3 times stronger than baking powder which likely changes the taste and texture of muffin, so use half

Just add 2 teaspoon of baking powder and 1⁄2 tsp salt

Could I add some mixed berries to this recipe and would I have to alter the original recipe?? My kids love mixed berries so would be awesome if I can add them 🙂 thanks for a simple muffin recipe 👍💖😊

I used self raising flour it has salt, so if your not using self raising u can add 1 Tsp salt and baking powder

Yes, melt and cool the butter to room temperature, then continue with your recipe (if the recipe calls for ½ cup oil, use ½ cup melted and cooled butter).

It depends on oven my oven on 180 C (350 F) it heat too much, 180 C is recommended and It balances well on baking goods but ovens are not the same

that looks great just as a batter

Hi Grace It depends on oven on mine I "on 180oC for 15 mins or until gold" but if ur oven is fast u can reduce to 160oC
