Basic Math: Lesson 7 - Units of Measurement
This lesson consists of providing you with a Self-Tutorial of the basic units used in measurement. These are the ones I discuss:
Units of Time, Units of Length (Metric and U.S.), Units of Area (Metric and U.S.), Units of Volume (Metric and U.S.), Units of Mass (Metric and U.S.), Units of Liquid Capacity (Metric and U.S.), Units of Dry Capacity (Metric and U.S.), and other miscellaneous Units. Conversion Formulas and Abbreviations are also listed.
This is a "must have" Lesson for those moving on to solving Word Problems in Algebra and other higher math.

Thank you, you are teaching simply, so you make the listeners understand these measurments easly. Thank you again, and please add more videos of your lectures
Thank you so much! This is just what I was looking for. You are a wonderful teacher!
R.I.P to my left ear
@TheCalichic9 Are you having problems hearing this video? Sorry about that. It was recorded using a mono, not stereo mic. You may need to adjust your audio settings to hear. I have new video and sound equipment (finally!), so new videos will not have this problem.
I did watch the whole tutorial, even though I kept thinking I know this already it helps to review. Thanks! Mike Maloney in Westminster Maryland
Thanks so much, I was failing, now I'm on top thanks to you
@TheCalichic9 Sorry again. My expertise is in math tutoring, not video production (I am self-taught). I am getting better at it, so hopefully new videos will have a more uniform sound. It will never be perfect, since I do have to use 2 different mics (one for videos, one for narrations).
Thanks! you make it fun and easy to learn
@videomathtutor I'm sorry my niece was on my account and I'll speak to her tonight to see what is she confused about and thank you for posting up these videos.
Very helpful thank you,,,YOU DA MAN!!!!
thanks ones again......god bless mr. luis
@MiMalon4 This video is designed to be a review. I am glad it helped you!
Glad I was able to help!
Oh yes, sorry, you are indeed!,... as in " The teacher lays the road and the tutor fills in the potholes" We'll be back for more tutoring. My son appreciated your humor, I could hear him laughing on and off as he was watching you here. Not to mention, you filled in every single one of the potholes in our road....all in under 32 minutes! :)
Hi I love your humor and your lessons are perfect. Thank you

a very good video with some humour if anything this shows that the metric system is easier to calculate being based on easy units of ten its possible to do mental arithmatic without resorting to using calculators or pieces of paper :-)
thank you so much :-)

Please clarify your question.

It is a Pokèball. LOL
That intro music is totally tubular.
Why. Why can't people just make math FUN?!!! It's boring, no matter who's teaching it or the crazy sound effects. PLEASE AMERICA, STOP! I'M DYING OVER HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You need to watch more of my videos. I do make it fun. This particular video is not that exciting, so I don't blame you for not liking it too much. Also understand most math taught in lower grades is boring! If you look at the foundation of a house, is it nice to look at? NO! It isn't exciting until it is built. Same with math. Once you get into calculus and higher level math, it really does get more interesting. Just stick with it!

The Video Math Tutor I'm so sorry. I didn't mean it; had a rage quit on my homework. I literally THREW my papers. No hard feelings? :)

Thx so much. I tried looking up on youtube for help on how to understand my homework better, and I watched, like, four different vids, and NONE of them helped. You were the last vid I watched, since I was so fed up. Your vid helped, luckily, but I didn't figure that out until AFTER I had my rage quit. So, again, I apologize.
stupid US customary system !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Very good. But too much aside talks

Ahmad Huseynli I invite you to download my free PDF math notes for this lesson, to avoid all that aside talk (which, by the way, sets me apart from other tutors/teachers here, and makes me rather popular here on KZread). Visit my website www.vmt.cc for details.
