Base Models Exist & So Do Discounts.. No Need For Doom & Gloom

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

There is hope in this ridiculous car market but it's going to take some sacrifice on our part by purchasing lower trim or even base model cars. We also need to do our due-diligence and get discounts as well. See my 2024 Tacoma TRD Pro Video here: • 2024 Toyota Tacoma TRD...

“Deal with it and learn how to sacrifice”. The people are dealing with it by not buying these at those ridiculous prices. They are stacking up on dealer lots for a reason. Toyota done fucked it up.

Like I mentioned, do you really think they care if these sell or not? I'm just surprised people still think we have a voice in the matter and like our actions mean something in regard to these Billion dollar corps, they don't. They know what we want but they don't deliver on purpose. These companies have a million and one different ways of making money without selling a single car.

@@christopher-yn8lk you’ve been doing that my friend, for decades now. Even pre pandemic when cars were practically free, did the masses get a good deal? No, people were always getting screwed because their priorities are in the wrong place they never research the important things. When Tacos and Tundras were leasing for $200-$250 did anyone pull the trigger? Nope. Savvy customers that research get the deals no matter the market. I even showed in great detail two brokers offering insane discounts on new cars with dirt cheap leases on select models.

I remember when I got my Elantra brand new I think it was like 17k or something after rebates... Now I can't afford anything new nor do I want. I'm happy just to have a car at this point lol. But I enjoy the positive attitude. It's really important. And good point that the compact cars are similar to mid size of the past. The Elantra I had truly was roomy for the class of car it was.

No they’re just high volume dealers and these brokers simply reach out and offer them their services by promising even more leads and customers so dealer then passes on those discounts to us. High volume dealers are typically rewarded with quarterly bonuses so they’re able to line their pockets up nicely that way and they are also rewarded with specialty cars like in the Case of Toyota, TRD Pros, Supras, Land Cruisers, GR performance cars etc which they are able to sell at MSRP or even a mark up. We can try to negotiate with our local dealers to get similar deals but 9/10 our local dealers will get some smuck who will buy the car at full MSRP. Before buying my 4Runner from Jim, I reached out to my local Lexus dealer to get 12% off MSRP on a Lexus GX 460 (same deal as AutoCompanion) General manager reached back out to me and said that discount is insane and they could never honor it and how almost every car they sell is at MSRP. The general manager went on to say that to earn my business, he will take $1,200 off MSRp on any GX 460 on their lot… needless to say, I stopped reaching out to my local dealers they are such a waste of time. I don’t even want to get into how they would have inflated the interest of the lease or the Money Factor.

I sort of expected my point to be missed but that's ok my friend. TRD Pro is a top spec product... nobody is threatening us to buy the top of the line vehicle that normal people can't afford. In other words, a TRD Pro is for the elite customer SR & SR5s those are the models made for the average consumer complaining about price. If you want to complain about how the 2024 SR costs more than the 2023 SR, that's valid. TRD Pro pricing should be irrelevant to those with lower income.
