Nice looking strap. Think I’m going to go ahead and order a couple. Can’t really beat that price.
Just really got into watch collecting, ordered a few Barton bands.
Interesting tone of tan from that leather, but I guess I'll still stick to Omega leather straps, they are hard to fault!

AuldeyST I have OEM, premium after market and budget straps. There’s definitely a difference and you do get what you pay for.
Great Video. It's not the worst strap I've seen but it has a couple of issues. Using top grain leather is bargain for the price, but based on the color of the leather the strap is probably chromium tanned. Vegetable or natural tanning normally creates a little more distressed colors. This brown is very unique over the leather. The band is not tapered, because it covers wrist sizes from 5.5 to 8 inch. Therefore it has so many holes and is not tapered. Having the strapp tapered would reduce the usage of the keeper to early. I personally prefer the look of the second strap over the Barton. It's like you said, you get what you pay for.

Markus F thanks Markus. I plan to reach out to Barton and ask about their process. It’s unclear from their marketing how they tan the leather.

@@TheEnglishWatch It looks like a bargain for the leather quality. But then its one size fits all(5.5inch to 8inch), not tapered and has build in spring bars. I personally get my straps from a local guy in Adelaide. But its double the price of the Bartons.

@@markusf6964 How can you tell it's chrome tanned? Surely you'd need to check the cross-section for bluing before making a judgment call?
