Who's the idiot that says he doesn't deserve everything he has? He and his brothers have been spitting out number ones since the early 60s. He actually lives modest compared to most musicians

The Bee Gees are in the top 10 bands of all time in my book. Sir Barry is such a legend. His vocal range is simply incredible. Such a shame he is the only one left. Wish I had gone to their One Night Only concert...how amazing.

@SisterInChrist According to this data: d.o.b. is 09-01-46. The video I watched last night said his wife Linda and Barry got married on 09-01-70, (would have been on his birthday). That's rather unusual, maybe so he would never forget his anniversary! 😊 Another interview had him and sister born in Manchester, England, the rest of them born on "Isle Of Man" !?!?!?

His mother Barbara died in 2016. She had to endure the loss of 3 sons and her husband Hugh. Barry and older sister Leslie are the sole survivors of the Gibb immediate family.

Margaret Stewart Barry wrote something great songs. His falsetto and harmonies he created are magnificent. Always busy, he produced for a number of artists. Bio says he is a Christian. Hard to believe, seeing how much money he spends on material things.

So Linda and Barry got married on his birthday in 1970 (sept 1st), and had their 50th Wedding Anniversary 2 1/2 months ago... *C O N G R A T U L A T I O N S* ❣️

A great Singer, songwriter and a extraordinary man. Wonderful things tô him.

How proud his parents must have been of their children and their success. The brothers wrote songs for other artists that many people may not realize it was them that wrote them. I saw a special that Barry had done fairly recently where he was alone on stage. So strange to see that, so sad. You could see his pain and sadness being there without his brothers there with him. Without question, their contributions to music has been such a beautiful gift to the world.

The Gibb brothers incredible talent. Thank you for the great music, still listen to it never gets old.

I'm sure he feels he was wealthiest when his brothers stood with him. RIP Andy, Maurice and Robin. ❤

Whatever he has, good for him. He earned every penny, gave every show/concert/appearance his best, his all. AND managed to stay grounded, humble, and kind through all his successes, tragedies, everything. He's an amazing person, one of a kind, imo.

I just saw this video for the first time. I thought that Maurice passed away in early 2004. Regardless of the obvious mistakes with dates, I love their music. I was in high school in the late 1970s when they were so popular and I will never stop listening to their music. It's sad that Barry is the only one left now.

So ironic that Andy was the youngest and the first to die, now Barry is the oldest and the last one living. I saw him in the documentary "How Can You Mend A Broken Heart" and he seemed so sad. At the end he said he would trade all the fame, fortune, and hits just to have them back again for one more day. If you haven't seen it, watch it, it's very good.

They wrote songs for other artists as well. Their music catalogue is extensive over 500 songs, 60% are Barry’s songs.

If they didn't play medleys, a BG'S concert would be 4 hours long playing just charted songs they've written. For a number years they were earning 20% of the entire worldwide music industry revenue. They've sold out arenas around the world for decades. To say that Barry Gibbs is worth only $90 million is laughable. You left off a zero.

Not necessarily, there has not been any tour or new album money in years and even so there were 3 performers to slice up the pie. Cost tickets became much more expensive in the recent years. You pay lots of taxes .and expenses and there goes half easily,.

Don't forget 90+% of their songs were written by the brothers together, particularly Robin, not by Barry alone. ALL THREE are in the Songwriters' and R&R Hall of Fame.

They did break up sometime in 1970 though. And before of that, Robin had left the Bee Gees to focus on his solo career.

01/05/2024❤ Wspaniałe zestawienie Fotografii...szkoda tylko że nie przy wykonaniu którejść z Piosenek Barry'ego Gibba - tyle ich jest jeszcze za pewne nie odkrytych jeszcze choć słucham od tylu lat - nigdy nie mam dośc.Zawsze znajdzie się jeszcze jakaś za pewne...której nie słyszałam.. a która będzie stanowiła o bogactwie odkrytej kolejnej 'perełki' wśród ich licznych Dzieł.To niezwykły Twórca...jak i Jego Bracia.Choć Jego Talent i sposób Tworzenia Piosenek nie ma sobie równych. Dziekuję za te piękne w przekazie tej relacji Zdjęcia. Byli Niezwykli Razem...ale wciąż żyjacy Barry sprawia...że w Sercu pojawia się Uśmiech na każdą ze Wspomnianych chwil.
