Barred owl nest - parents bring food to the nest
Luna has her first owlet and the following night, both parents stock up the pantry for the newborn! From snake to mouse to fish to rat, he will have a diverse diet! You can also get a good view of the baby when mom briefly leaves the nest!

I love how Dad makes those hooting noises when he brings the food. Luna gets so excited when he comes. They are good parents.

That’s amazing, Sophie! They are so active! It’s precious. I don’t see Luna tearing the mice into little pieces. Does she do that and then feed it to the chick?
