Sorry to hear about your dog mate. I lost mine in October. So many things remind you of them. Watching your videos she used to be so happy. No leed. Just flying around sniffing and exploring. We give them such good lives.

That tartan material on the seats is called Daytona I think you could get it on the Nova Sport also.

Wow.. what a blast from the past?? I remember these cars like it were yesterday.. The GT/E is the last of the line up in production up to 1987 on an E plate.. The rarest ones I've seen were the sloping roof 2 door booted version with double round headlight conversion.. Even if you were to get your hands on this one and wanted to restore it.. the engine and the wheels would be seized solid for sure.. treating the rust and paintwork plus finding parts would be like looking for hens teeth?? All the money needed to bring this car back to its former glory.. this car is 'probably' too far gone unless you have deep pockets..

I'm saddened to hear about Lola. Dogs are family to me. I lost my chocolate lab not long ago, he was nearing his 12th birthday. Many fond memories were made with him. God Bless from the US!

Brought a manta gte early 2000's for £20. And scrapped it afta. Cars used to be 10 a penny them days. Top channel mate 👍

When i use to live in Birmingham when i was a kid it was very sad to see these cars joy ridden and then burnt out 😢. I came across a few burnt out metros too.

I had a gold one with gold bumpers and wheels, great cars.

My aunt had one back in the late 90s gte in white was a good fun car to drive and its shame its sat there to rot miss lola was a lovely dog (R.i.p) is hard i know ive had dogs all my life just think of the good times you had this is the stokze we know walking in the fields in the country side keep up the good work mate 👍

Been off the road since 1993 and looks like its a 2 owner car as the last log book issued was 2nd Mach 1984 and is was registered in February 1984. Great find 👏

Chassis leg rot kills mantas. It’s a lot of work to repair but not too difficult. That one bein an a reg gte is quite rare these days too.

Correct, but the car may have been there since 1993. Obviously someone has been there in the last five years, and the trucks are less exposed to the elements. He could still leave a note though, but it will be evidence that Stokze was there poking around and cleaning windows 😂

Such a shame, looks to have been a Carmine red GTE with Daytona check interior. Unfortunately the chassis legs will be dust, judging by the rest of it. They rot from the inside. Funnily enough I have a complete back panel in that colour ready to go on, only I’m saving it for when mine needs doing!

Maybe can try applying for the v5, if theres no reply from the owner if they are/aren't here it can be put in your hands. This thing is only gonna rot more if left like this.

I remember the original video featuring this manta and it's sad to see it still there rotting away. Try rubbing the dirt off the windscreen and see if there's a tax disc there as it might have writing on it and find out if there's the name of a post office on the tax disc because alot of people in rural places used to tax their car's at the local post office and just maybe they might know who owns this car and also look on the land registry department to see who owns the land.

It’d be nice to find out the history of this car. It’s last tax due August 1993 so perhaps it’s been sat there since then, over thirty years

I think the whole back end underneath is rotten if not all of the underneath. I know nobody has been to it in a long time but Why don't you leave your number on a note on the car you never know. But possibly best to laminate it.

Can you not ask DVLA for details, I believe there are ways of taking ownership of abandoned vehicles?
