I felt this way too right up to the day I drove my whipple Cobra with 650 rwhp. Now I would be bored with a stock one. But as long as you get enjoyment from your setup, to each his own I say!

My lil brother has an entire 04 Termi cobra drivetrain stuffed V a 2000 gt chassis. He however is still straight live axle 8.8 rear with 35 spline axles and one awesome rear diff that locks like a spool. It made 980HP on E85 at 26psi. Shes a quick one and Idb dry

It’s one of my favorite videos. Probably the one that made me want a terminator the most.

Me personally I think cobras of all years looks better with the crystal white paint color

I remember when I bought mine brand new in Sept 2002, it seems like yesterday. To see one all ripped up like the one in the video blows my mind. Glad it's back on the road again. I sold mine in mint condition for $25k to a friend who still has it. Mine wasn't even pulley'd, just intake and exhaust. Only had 10k miles on it.

I don't like seeing rare cars like these Cobra getting modified with solid rear axles to drag race. I just picked up a terminator deck lid from a guy wanting a different wing to drag race it. Its unfortunate seeing Cobras being parted out or altered like this.

Yes. Mystichrome is not very rare. There are a few colors that are more rare.

Cobra has a bad luck of owners!! Keeps being sold n sold n sold....lol

I was kind of expecting the happy ending but being the car ended up in Europe I suppose not lol. As I mentioned before I'm still torn between getting a Terminator or a Shelby GT350 but the more I keep weighing the pro's and con's of each but in the end I keep getting pulled back to the Terminator. While your giving up years of technology there are just other things about the Shelbys and the cost factor of not just getting one but the ownership of them on top of that. I still have a year to really decide but as of now the Terminators are back in the top spot.

@@justin.c_svt A lot of what it comes down to is the cost. I can afford a GT350 in the low 40K range but it leaves a lot less wiggle room to put money away for other things VS spending significantly less ( 20K-25K ) on a Terminator and spending a lot less in registration which in my state is through the roof. I've spend $1,500 on registration on my 2016 F150 in the past 3 yrs of ownership, I can't imagine what the cost would be the first few yrs of the Shelby even buying a few yrs old.

Yes, there are issues with the space gap between the hood and the bumper though.

The trouble isn't necessarily finding the car, hell i see a few of em in Crestview, FL which is a very small city compared to surrounding Pensacola, Destin, and Panama City. As more people are realizing how rare they are, along with, how desirable AND just flat out fun to own they are, nobody wants to sell their's. Everyone knows they're sitting on a gold mine if they have a low mileage 03-04 cobra in mint condition. They're out there, just won't be as low mileage as u were probably hoping for. Good luck! 😎

You can find them . It's tough but their out there and you will pay high . I found a 03 black svt with 6 k miles one owner that thing still smell new . I took it if I was just buying of the lot new.

That's what I heard too that it's a lot of money cause I actually want to get a Nissan Skyline GTT

Cobra Life the chrome wheels look like 18” afs cobra wheels. No longer available from afs wheels. The mesh wheels are ccw classics.mach 5 wheels are made by true forged but they are no longer in business

First 5 spoke are Chrome Afs wheels and they sell for 1100-1400 used and the Black ones are CCW classics which sell between 2500-3kish used.

Shit would have sold you my 03 for 25😂

Car is setup nicely except for the rear. With that much power, 3.73 rear is the ticket. I'm not a fan of smoked head or tail lights. What a shame that it ended up in Europe.

3.27 gears are PERFECT for a twin screw blower on these cars.. There's literally no need to go any taller

@@dicksteel91 ​ Obviously you don't know much about Terminator Cobras. Those who have made the gear upgrade in their 03-04 Cobras are all glad they did because it totally wakes the car up. My car came stock from the factory with 3.55s so I think they knew what they were doing at Ford. Any longer ratios are only good if you want to go top end racing which is rather risky on the street. With 3.73s I can wail on 1st and 2nd and still be reasonably close to the speed limit which can save on tickets not to mention being a blast of a good time! I'd be very bored with 3.27 gears in my Cobra.

@@tomkjr1 I know they came with 3.55 from the factory, and I should retract what I said: 3.55 IS the tallest you should need to go; it's a twin screw blower bro lol u have power all thru the band,, what's the point of 3.73s?? Most people simply swap out the stock Eaton and never touch the rear end for a couple reasons: 1. There's no need with 3.55s already back there 2. Gear swaps on that IRS are a mission

Adding lower gears enables you to concentrate your horsepower into lower speeds by making the engine rev faster which makes the car quicker and much more enjoyable on the street. This is even more effective for a blower upgraded Cobra with much more power than stock. And Terminators going to 3.73s is a commonly known practice so there must be something to it. I would never think about going back to my stock 3.55s. Actually I am considering going to 4.10s or 4.30s. My mechanic swapped out my gears easily even on an IRS.

@@tomkjr1 u must've missed the part where I told you I retracted my 3.27 statement for the cobra.. Might wanna look that word up, bud... and, my guy, most everyone that mounts a roots type or twin screw blower to a 2v or 4v 4.6 just keeps their stock 3.27 or 3.55 gears... I JUST sold my GT's OEM 3.27 gears after swapping to 3.73s to some guy who's pushing close to 800 hp out of his Kenne Belle'd Stang... wonder why that would be?? If you're talking a TURBO or a Centrifugal blower set up, THEN it would be wise and beneficial to swap to something like 3.73, 4.10, etc... so you're in boost sooner or instantly

Some of the older uploads weren’t in 1080p and the audio was worse. This one unfortunately didn’t upload well. I’m adjusting the audio level on the latest ones to try and make them better.

For 55,000 you could’ve bought the same color cobra but the Saleen model terminator cobra with 6,000 miles On it Call the stupid bye lol 😂

yeah 40k is bad no matter if you're a super fan of the terminator or not. But if the guy is loaded and 40k isn't much to him then it doesn't really matter. Anyone else?.. OOOF
