Today I will take you to Barmek or Lower Icchegaon
It is an offbeat destination of North Bengal and is just 17km away from Kalimpong.
To reach here you have have to first reach NJP station or Siliguri Junction and then you have to take a share cab to Panitanki More . From Panitanki More take a share cab to Kalimpong and then from Kalimpong take a share cab to Barmek or Lower Icche Gaon.
* Note - Share cab to Barmek is only available from 9 am to 2:30 pm after that you have to avail a private cab to reach Barmek from Kalimpong.
Cost :
Panitanki More to Kalimpong- Rs 200 share cab and Rs 3000 in Private Cab
Kalimpong to Barmek - Rs 100 share cab and Rs 800 in private cab.
From staying here there is a limited option available.
