‘Baretta’ Actor Robert Blake Dies at 89

Actor Robert Blake died at the age of 89. Blake was a child star who appeared with Humphrey Bogart in the classic "The Treasure of the Sierra Madre." He catapulted to international fame in 1967's "In Cold Blood," playing a psycho killer. However, his fall from grace began in 2001 when he was charged with the murder of his wife, Bonnie Lee Bakley. She was shot dead outside a restaurant they had dinner in. He was later found not guilty.

A real-life father…🖤🩶🤍❤️ I DON’T see a murderer, because, as a Marine veteran, I’ve done and seen things I’M not proud of. So, no judgement here. Robert might’ve been shunned by Hollywood since the late 90’s, but I’m EXTREMELY proud of TCM for remembering “Mr. Baretta” in their 2023 edition of TCM Remembers…and a big shout out to the Oscar for taking special consideration for including RB in their In Memorium segment of the upcoming Academy Awards Ceremony. 💐💐💐🕯️🕯️🪦🕯️🕯️💐💐💐 RIP (1934-1923)… You were denied the prosperity you enjoyed earlier in life. May you enjoy that eternal Peace that eluded you after the spotlights went dead and the curtains came down for the last time. As a child watching the Little Rascals, i enjoyed Mr. Blake's work. He was a talented actor who even now going into the new year 2024 has many fans! Mr. Blake's work will live on for many decades! I only hope the A$$hole who is responsible for keeping the Baretta series from being shown puts away his hatred and lets the show play on! FINAL NOTE:. In this great country 🇺🇸 when a jury of one's peers finds a person NOT GUILTY, that is exactly what he/she is, innocent! 🤨. To all who disagree, you're free to leave 😲 A fan forever from East Los Angeles California 🇺🇸 "Don't do the crime if you can't do the time"! 🤠

@@Seek1878 Exactly. Doesn't bide well that she was threatened by her former lover Christian Brando (Blake's daughter was originally thought to be Brando's), who, you know, is on record for shooting a man in the face. If Blake did do it, I wouldn't be surprised. If he didn't, also not surprised. But beyond a reason of a doubt? No way.

Today is March 25, 2023, I just woke up about 6:30am, I finished eating My Breakfast, I turn On KZread and what do I see in the Memorandum, Robert Blake Died, What ??? I thought it was a misprint/ mistake, something ? When I looked at Wikipedia, I see, Robert Blake Died March 9, Of this year, 14 days ago, he was 89 yr,s old, Wow, I'm depressed,, I'm lost for words, kinda. I think in life he was misunderstood,,,, from what I read about him, throughout the years, it seems, was in Show Bissness since he was a little Boy, pushed there by his parents, Who I think also abused and sexually assaulted him. He had a hard Life. God Rest Bless His Soul R.I.P. Robert Blake 🙏🌹
