What to look for when buying bare root...
Select the rose with the thickest canes that are evenly spaced. Did you know that roses are graded for quality? We proudly source "Grade #1" roses as often as possible. Grade #1 represents the best of a variety: three or more healthy canes and a strong root system are essential! Grade 2 roses are what you often see for sale at other places in the Napa Valley area and they will need a lot of extra care in order to get established and thrive.
