Hi. How far away are these rooms from the beach and the main pools? Is it an easy walk or is there a shuttle that takes you closer to the beach area and lobby area? Google maps shows these rooms way in the back and I’m having a hard time pin pointing if there’s any paths that would take you up to the front of the resort.

Hi Adventure in Every Direction, thank you for taking the time to visit my channel and for watching one of my videos. Are you looking to book your vacation at Barcelo Bavaro Palace? I can share with you some property maps that show where these rooms are located compared to the lobby, pools and beach. That said, these are located near the golf course so they are about a 10-15 min walk to the beach (depends on how fast you walk). There is a shuttle that stops at the golf course and does take you to other main areas of the resort (lobby, beach and neighbouring adult resort).

Hi, is there Junior Suit or Superior Room close to the Family duplex? We plan to be 7 Adults. So we are looking for one duplex and 2 other room with 2 bed esch. Wondering if they could be close to each other..

Great question Arnihockey, the junior suites are in a very different area. The superior suites are in the same area as the duplex suites. How long ago was this video made? We are going this month and are staying in a “family duplex” room. It seems sufficient. We have 2 of these booked with 3 people staying in each duplex.

Hi Mary ( @marywidner1409 ) thank you for stopping by the channel and for watching one my videos. I filmed this room tour of the Family Duplex in March 2022 so it is fairly recent in my estimation. These suites are quite spacious and would be comfortable for three people no problem. @@SunnySouthVacations Yes, I agree that March of 2022 is recent!! That makes me feel so much better bc I’m always worried they are small and cramped! I also like they are fairly updated, good enough for a family anyway. I’m not looking for exquisite out of this world rooms, not on this vacay. Was the resort good, overall? I’ve only been to one other resort in Puna Cana.

How do the doors lock? Is there a child lock or a lock higher up on the door?

Does it get cold in the family duplex ?

Hi @Dntfwnb78 I suppose it could get cold if you cranked the A/C and left it on all day. Other than that, I can't see why those rooms would get cold. What have you heard?

@@Dntfwnb78 lol I understand. It can get really hot in Dominican Republic depending on when you're visiting. I just got back two days ago and I was melting. That said, I was always next to the ocean or the pool to stay cool.

@@Dntfwnb78 great question. The water in your room is not purified. I would not drink it nor would I brush your teeth with it. The water served in restaurants and used for ice cubes should be purified and that was my experience while at the resort. That said, I would ask and confirm with the front desk upon arrival at the resort that this is indeed the case. They are best able to answer and confirm your question. Upon asking your question you'll need to make a personal assessment of what's best for you and your traveling party. I really cannot provide advice or direction on what you should do. I'm just speaking from my experience at the time I was visiting the resort.

Does this hotel have a duplex with ocean view?

Hi Fayzal, thanks for watching and for the great question. No, the Family Duplex rooms are all located closer to the golf course and do not offer ocean views. If you have a large family and want a ocean view you will want to consider the Family Junior Suite Premium Level. I have a video tour of that room as well.
