Banoffee Pie

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

This quick and easy Banoffee pie piled high with whipped cream is sweet, DELICIOUS and full of banana and toffee flavors to delight the palate. The filling, with lots of silky caramelized dulce de leche between the banana slices and toffee bits is addictive in it's own right but when combined with the crunchy crust, shaved chocolate, and whipped cream it basically the best thing ever.

@@neavesarah1066 are you southern? I'm also from the UK but we say bah-noff-ee as I'm northern. I think its dependant on which area you live in, there's a variety of regional accents so misprounciation happens all the time 😂 I'm interested to hear how a Scouser vs a Yorkshireman would say it, or a Londoner vs a Scot, or a Jordie vs and Irishman. That could be very fun.

If anyone's trying with the Lotus Biscoff for the crust, no need to add sugar or salt! Just melted butter will do. Biscoff is quite dense & flavourful in terms of texture & taste anyway! Great recipe btw ❤️

Have you ever made a Pavlova? If you have I suggest making one using the Banoffee flavor profile. It's SO good!! I didn't use toffee in mine either but my homemade caramel sauce was a great replacement. My meringue came out so stable that I was able to put down 2 layers of each ingredient. It was massive but oh so yummy... 😋

This is one of my fav pies! I prefer to use chocolate cookie crust and cocoa powder for dusting on the top. I also add way more dulce de leche than that, but only on the bottom. Not as many bananas and no toffee chips. And I smooth out my whipped cream on top too. So delicious! Mine slices beautifully.

I watched two other videos on how to make it; and they didn’t put toffee chips in theirs. So I didn’t know that they went in this pie. Oh well, I’m sure it will still be a really good pie. Yours looks exceptional- all the mile high whipped cream! and chocolate shavings- I've found some recipes that use instant coffee- I also love my coffee but not on top of a masterpiece like this- or yours. I am fortunate to be a lousy cook! My partner is diabetic so the whole pie would be mine....and I try to maintain a Kiera K silhouette. If I WAS going to try a recipe it would be yours! I didn't check the date, but whatever you celebrate and if it is snowy, light a candle and be merry! All the best for 2022! Namaste from Canada
