OH. MY. WORD. That was literally EVERYTHING that makes a fight scene great: mechs, monsters, epic camera action, swordplay, anime-level weapon blasts. What an absolute MASTERPIECE!!

I love the sense of power between the two and how, while the Hunter had an answer for nearly anything Chief did, he still kept it on its toes the entire time and ended up winning through tenacity, cunning and a little luck like he always does. Plus, im a sucker for anything that acknowledges the HRUNTING/YGGDRASIL Mk 1.

I've never been so hyped watching something like this before. THIS WAS KICKASS!!!

Oh my god literal chills. I genuinely didn't want that to end. I can't explain how cool this is. The fact I didn't want to stop watching is a testament in of itself. But I especially wanted to point out three main things I was super impressed by. The creativity in each figure and practical effects, the hunter mech thing actually felt like a threat and the pacing and little things to show that he isn't just stupid either makes him feel like a worthy foe, and third the camera movement is just insane and feels like it was actually shot by a professional studio for some big budget movie. Absoulutely stelllar! Amazing job as always. You inspire us all :)

@@mootroidXproductions I’m serious about this, you should apply to a stop motion company, your works are all movie grade with the time and effects applied, and with models created specifically for stop motion in mind your works would be next level and would be better than the overwhelming majority of large film companies

This has to be one of the best stop motion fan projects I've ever seen! The movements and camera work are fluid, the choreography is astounding, and the sound design works great!

honestly, this is the best Halo animation I've ever seen. My god, the fighting scene of all the enemies and Master Chief riding a mecha is a total badass. Hell this is even better than Halo from Paramount+ lol

You've never Halo Legends I'm guessing? There's one episode where a marine literally pilots a Mech like this.. it had a few extra weapons, smaller in size, but it looked amazing.. and as a bonus it was in Anime like animation, blood and all.. nonetheless I absolutely loved this stop motion! I seen the mech and instantly clicked on the vid

Holy heck this is amazing! I’m slightly annoyed that I can’t find the right words to describe how incredibly good this was. Seriously, top tier stuff! The final sequence when the Master Chief blasts that Hunter to oblivion is my favorite part.

Jesus Christ that was metal as fuck! You really outdid yourself with this one Charlie. The choreography is so satisfying and the impacts from the hits. Can see some real improvements in your animation since TLC part 2. The gravity hammer bit has sooo much more weight than it’s equivalent in the last colony. Well freakin done!

This channel is criminally underrated. Keep up the good work! 👍

I love how it transitions from Halo to Gundam and then back to Halo flawlessly... Also the pistol scene made me bust a gut!

i love how the fighters' relative size switches so much. It changes the dynamic in such a satisfying way! Also the recoil on the over-the-shoulder shot at 1:50 is just perfect

Dude the ending of this has to be one of the coolest pieces of stop motion I’ve ever seen

This might be one of the best stop motions I’ve seen in a very long time. The way you let the viewer feel the weight of each bullet, swing, etc makes it feel like I’m watching this in real life. Very well done! Bonus points for the MGSR song, it fit perfectly.

I can't even find a problem with this. Absolutely amazing. The choreography, camera work, SFX, VFX, and set dressing were 10/10. I dunno if the Banished Prototype and mech suit are custom made, but either way the designs are AMAZING. Such well made figurines. I really can feel the distinct weights of objects and movements while watching this. So well done. I find when I REALLY like something, I watch it twice. I watched this 3-4 times in a row. Some parts I like in particular: At 0:11, the way he just pins the Elite so aggressively felt badass. I also love how the other Elite isn't braindead, and doesn't just keep running at Chief. He makes a retreat and waits for a better opening. At 0:22, you could've just had Chief shoot the Elite and be done with it, but you put the extra effort into it and made the Elites body move. Nice touch. At 0:27, I like how the projectile actually lands near Chief and does splash damage. It's a small thing, but it's not seen often in my experience. You can also see the Gravity Hammers weight afterwards. So good. 0:48 is a nice use of the environment. I like it. The beam effects afterwards is also nice. At 1:00 I liked how Chief racks the gun. Very nice touch. I like how at 1:15, Chief puts a sticky on its back, thinking it'll be as weak as a Hunter, and is then surprised that it didn't work. The entire fight scene is an 11/10, but the commitment at 3:13 to chop up the legos for a better effect is appreciated. The shot at 3:45 is too good not to single out. That's wallpaper worthy. Again, the entire thing was AMAZING. Some of the best stuff I've seen. Ever. Can't wait for more, if you're up for it!

It looks incredible, like the official Megaconstrux and halo ones :D

That was perhaps the most fantastic animation I've ever seen. I have no words.

So good. At no point did I think these were small plastic figures being moved frame-by-frame. The immersion of the animating and the interaction with the set was top tier.

I cannot believe how incredibly smooth the action is and how much genuine weight you managed to put behind the bigger pieces. I know that already can be a fiddly thing in normal animation, but you managing to pull this off in stop freaking motion just blows my mind.

Bro I love the ways how the characters moved, so smooth yet each hit and movement felt so impactful and you can feel the heaviness and with each blow becoming heavier and heavier. Mootroid you did an amazing job my friend 💯

This was fantastic! I know most people are going to talk about the incredible fight between the mech and the prototype but I want to add how awesome it is that you incorporate the surroundings into the battle, such as the dirt being kicked in the elites face as well as the chief shooting through the crevice in the wall. Great job!

GOD this animation goes SO HARD. especially that metal gear rising revengance music. i hear it kick in and my eyes widened

To anyone that knows anything about animation and how stop motion works it's evident just how much work, talent and passion went into this. It's a masterpiece.

You are an absolute fucking legend. Bruh, the part where chief kicks up the Banshee cockpit to shield himself from the beam, and the killing blow at the end were probably the best scenes in the entire thing. Also an excelent use of the MGR soundtrack, thought I would have probably used Rules of nature myself.

Fantastic job. The combat looked well-choreographed, and the camera didn't feel too chaotic (as some faced paced camera action in stop motion can cause some motion sickness) and the story of the battle was fantastic and epic and was really creative. I loved seeing this work of art and think all the hype and wait for it was absolutely worth it. Keep doing a great job!

Great job man! Absolute masterpiece. 1) music. Th music fit the animation so well and complemented the intensity and tension between master cheif and the banished prototype. 2) Set The set was detailed and just well done. 3) audio design The sound effects were done well and not too complicated. 4) Animation The animation was incredible! Loved the weight, follow through, ease in and out, arcs and overal natural flowing movements. You have a knack at getting super smooth yet realistic moves that I cannot achieve. 5) practical effects/visual effects The practical effects are some of the best I’ve seen! Love the use of plastic pieces and of the giant lasers hitting the mastercheif. Love the small and subtle use of vfx also. Overall man this was a great animation. Super high quality elements in every part of the video nicely tied together. The only criticism I’d have is maybe you could have shown master cheif looking at the mech or getting into to add some more context for it and storytelling. Also at the end master cheif immediately walked away which would have been more badass if he stood there and contemplated what he had just done. Nice work, good attention to detail, well executed.

Holy moly that was an absolute masterpiece it was so smooth the sound effects were top notch and the lighting was amazing and on top of all that it was insanely smooth and the music fit in to it so well it was an all around masterpiece you truly are an stop motion professional.

that double tap though. OH and the enemy (sorry I forgor the name, I assume it's in the title but I dunno so meh) using it's shield to cut off the mechs arm is lit. it's not one sided, both parties involved in the battle are _competent_ and much _smert_
