All the texturizing, feathering and point cutting gave this cut a next level results… beautiful soft blended and perfectly shaped. Sometimes, taking longer more complex and detailed techniques give you a far superior cut. Very excellent cutting and styling. To each his own!! You do you!! ❤

Thanks Shelley! Appreciate your comment 🙏🏻
I would use my feather razor. I have been doing hair for 23 years. Your steps are in-depth and detailed, I don’t use as many but for a stylist who is learning, good tutorial.😊
Thanks the sections guide my self cut, reminders of eg overdirection, point cutting (ouch) nice ambiance
Like your style! Looking forward to seeing more of ya channel definitely passing the word😊
Thank you, I really enjoyed watching this. Some great techniques. And you did really well, as all the manequin heads I've worked on are really hard to cut and style. When you asked for any hair cutting styles....I always get stuck on graduated bobs, at the back and when I seem to put layers in the sides of a bob they always step or go whispy at the bottom! I love the way you did this video, (not talking), it sometimes distracts. Great thanks
Wow, what a gorgeous cut!
Wowwwww amazing explaining style pls keep up the great work. I just subscribe & can't wait for more😊❤👌👏👏👏
Thank you so much
Love your teaching style, hope you make more videos. I'm wondering if you could do the layered flip out look on less than medium length?
excellent
I LOVE IT!!!!!
Stunning haircut. I want my hair like this.👍

This comment section is not it. Ashton is a wonderful stylist & he knows he could have just pulled out a razor. & a whole lot of y’all are out here using razor’s incorrectly& shredding hair🙄 That’s not what this tutorial was for y’all. Ffs. Love it! I haven’t cut bangs like this in a while because I’m too dependent on my razor… seems a lot of stylists are. I am going to give this a go in salon, keep it exciting for myself& clients. ❤️🫶🏼 Thank you for the tutorial, it was great. 10/10

@mmc054 I sure hope so because trying to replicate for me would be like rocket science😕 I respect the process and the person just too technical for me to follow

@@michelleaw1325 thanks for your feedback! I would love to create a very simplified instructional video for this technique with less steps. I’ll work on that next 😄
Rectificar y rectificar, estoy segura que el flequillo no era el largo original, es el mal de los peluqueros, le pides hasta los hombros y te queda por las orejas.
Вымучил😂
Tanta lentitud y poco logro !! Como decimos en mi pais puro grupo !!
Very bab
Criss cross is much simpler
Not for the novice.
I'm just seeing so many lengths and missed pieces and it's driving me nuts

Lol I was feeling the same way. To each their own.🤷♀️
...you're making this straightforward face framing cut more complicated than it has to be. You could have achieved the same goal with slide cutting and some point cutting for detailing and clean up, but the face framing doesn't require all of those techniques necessarily. Just sayin' 🤷

Thanks for your feedback. I have taught this technique to many other advanced stylists and have never gotten this feedback. I enjoy working efficiently, I have not found this to be a complex technique.

@CODE.MICROSALON It wasn't my intent to be critical, but rather to understand how to minimize how much time is spent doing any style for a guest, while maximizing the most effective techniques that achieve the same overall objective in cutting/styling hair in the least amount of time. There was nothing wrong with your technique per se', I just thought it didn't require everything in your toolbox to get to where you eventually wound up. No disrespect intended. 😉

Definitely not a “complex” technique. Just unnecessary to do all that. An advanced stylist knows when to point cut and texturize. One that isn’t as knowledgeable uses these techniques to appear knowledgeable but use incorrectly. That’s what the other lady was trying to help you with by saying you didn’t have to use every tool in your belt. Not trying to discourage you because you apparently have a passion for hair like we do! I love hair videos. I just watched this one kzread.info/dash/bejne/jJuj0ptsmsfaZKQ.html This is someone with experience that can teach. A slightly different haircut but you can see the simplicity of it but the beauty in it. It’s a much better haircut for being thought out and executed in a better way.

@Diane Gray ...and that's how it's done! I feel like his entire cut was shorter than the one demonstrating the face framing technique. No shade on anyone. Thank you for sharing another approach to the same goal. 👍
Не прическа, а ерунда какая-то
All the jerking, pulling. SMH You think that's comfortable for a client? FFS.
