    Will try, but like i have said earlier, Pink line elevated is on the opposite side of the city to where I live or work . Hence a little difficult. Thanks.

    26:02 Jakkur Plantation could cater to Yelahanka RMZ Galleria Complex consisting of Mall, Office and Residence through skywalk. It can be constructed at a later time as well because of the height and lots of open space.

    Hi. thanks for the suggestion. some of our friends use this video to track progress of various elements like piers, pier caps and U girders and speeding at source will impact them. May i suggest you to set the speed at your end while watching. Thanks.

    Thanks for the video! Do you hae a general Idea when all the stations could have their U girders and platform i girders ready or are they planning on fiinishing one station first and moving on to the other after completion

    It will take another 8 to 12 months for all station. They are about to finish bagalur cross and yelahanka is closely behind on Concourse n platform beam casting. Since these are cast in situ , work is more.. jakkur cross should be after yelahanka since they are yet to begin beam works.. kodigehalli the last one since it is at the traffic junction n got permission for LHS piers only recently

    It is below grade, cut and cover method is planned to be used with openings at regular distance. This part concerns me too since bmrcl has done its part in redoing their compound n gates a little back. There seems to be one water tank of some sorts that alone remains

    For Jakkur Plantation station have they kept space for building the station,.? Also if Embassy agrees to build the Bettahalasuru station now how it will be possible as they NCC have already completed U girders in that portion!!

    Bettahalasur seems a goner. One thing though they have used U girders with openings in them on side walls , similar to other station girders to enable future cabling into n out of the station.. but yes seems additional work will be required to hVe platforms by the side. Jakkur plantation too they had been slow on the last 3 piers there and now even that work has begun. So really not sure what is the plan there

    @@vijaysrini27 raising the height is not a possibility since it would impact the viaduct design leading into and out. at this time I could think of a possibility where course facilities could be housed in a off road structure and then link to platform along both side of viaduct. Now how will platform be done ( there are examples of such retro fit platform in delhi metro recently ) to be seen.

    Normal cap , centre is exactly on the pier centre with U girders on either side equidistant. Eccentric pier cap the centre shifts either left or right so that pier can support U girders around curves by a little offset

    That is one and KIAL had already provisioned median space for metro and hence at grade works just fine. Also avoids all piling / pile cap works.

    Without comparing too since I travel daily in these roads, the progress is good. There are some sticky points like IAF Under ground part or near Hebbal waiting land acquisition and so on. Rest they are working as much as they can. The piers between jakkur n kodigehalli are some of the tallest and are cast in either 2 or 3 stages as precaution.. so time taken is more

    Signals not yet opened and put into use, how to make 😀. Last I heard they are testing them.. and on the pink line.. the elevated part, its on the opposite side of blr to where I work or live.. kasta ..

    @@SunilHP Bro now pink line is also delayed between KG Halli and Nagavara. Why can't they finish it between Kalena Agrahara and KG Halli quickly and then later extend it? Also why can't they run existing trains(purple and green)on yellow line till they receive the new train sets?

    @@prasadanand1252 Pink line to operate on UG needs train reversal facility and is only available at pottery town apart from nagavara terminal end. Also in the UG part still work is going on for track , power traction and signalling. it is not that it is all ready. Trains for these will be delivered later by BEML. Purple line trains to be used here or in yellow line is difficult because new lines since Yellow line are CBTC signalling , while the existing trains are DTG signalling. and lastly even purple line with new extension to whitefield and kengeri are itself running on low frequency.
