Bandsaw Mill Setup - In this video I walk you through my process of preparing my Woodland Mills HM130 bandsaw mill for milling. I go through the process of installing a blade, tensioning, adjusting the tracking, guides, and checking fluids. Gas, lubrication, etc. The next video will include milling the log. Enjoy!

When you have a log on the mill and you whil change your blade put the machine higher, it works much better.

Dillons Woodworks hay Dillon, i think it is your first name? I have bought an HM 126 a few weeks ago, and i’am very happy with it. After the great wildfire from 15 oktober 2017 in Portugal many pines are dead, so alsow on our proporty. I have nearly 100m3 good pines. The reason to by my own mill. Wood in Portugal is very expensive, so now i have my own wood. And in the 2 weeks after i learnd alsow a lot 😱.

Sounds like you're really enjoying that Sawmill, and we'll be very busy with it too.
Vidio quality looked just fine to me,,,,the audio was a touch weak, though. , - But that is not the faut of the camera man, He did just fine in my book.

Ive got the same mill, How is it that the blade wheels spin so easily on your mill? The compression in the enjoy holds mine really stiff

That's interesting. It should not hold it since it is a centrifugal clutch. Does it operate ok?

@@practicallyIndependent the engine operates great. I had issues today with tracking but thats another topic.. It has held that pressure since i got it over a year ago, but it should spin free? Im confused now!

I believe it should spin free. Seems odd that it wouldnt spin. Can you spin it without a blade on it? Might be a good question to call tech support about. Seems odd to me.
