The worst part is is that we'll never experience it for the first time again. It's delicious.

Obviously Vessel is the highlight of the band, but the drummer is insanely insanely talented. I highly recommend watching the drummers playthrough of their song hypnosis. great reaction!

I feel obliged to inform you that II, the drummer, has recently been a guest on Drumeo (the first of any kind of interview or public/media appearance since the band’s inception) and performed quite a few play throughs and each and every one is faultless and jaw dropping.

So glad you said Funk!! Most people refer to this section as a "jazzy"section when its clearly, 100% FUNK! Straight FUNK!

If no one has mentioned it, the recorded version there is only two people. Vessel sings, guitar, bass and piano. The second person is ii who does the drums. And then the live prefomances, they have the bassist, iii and the guitarist, iv. You should check out some live stuff too! They’re incredible! They also have three ladies doing some backing vocals. Truly amazing all together.

Lauren it just blows me away at how great vessels voice is. I did not expect that from him. Then you out that voice with the awesome arrangements and fantastic musicians and this group is one of thr best I’ve heard. Wow!

Great reaction…you have to react to the album. It’s a work or art. A masterpiece Ascensionism Rain Take Me Back to Eden Euclid …in that order. Or just take an hour and react to the entire thing in sequence. You’ll be mind-blown

Ascensionism and Rain are soooooooo good! They are my favorite! Other than The Summoning and Chokehold

And if you want to hear Vessel's voice truly shine, look up his performances at the Lafayette in London for The Night Does Not Belong To God and also watch The Room Below version of Blood Sport. Man is INSANELY talented

I think KZread ate my previous comment, but I said something along the lines of "I'm trying to imagine my high school band teacher listening to Sleep Token, and I think his reaction would 100% be to tell us to turn it off 🤣 Also recommending that you check out ST's songs Take Me Back to Eden and Ascensionism. They will blow your mind. Oh, and maybe delete the comment revealing Vessel's name. He wants to remain anonymous so that we focus only on the music, not the people who make it. Plus a lot of us didn't want to know but found out because of comments like that, and it's annoying for fans who want to respect the band's wishes."

@@miss__anthropyI was so lucky to not only have one of my brothers old band directors (he graduated in 97, me in 07) and a new one when I was in band in the early 2000’s. He actually just got nominated to be in the National Band Directors HOF! Anywho, my other director was a dream theater freak like me and he absolutely LOVES ST and a lot of other bands I grew up loving and listening to. There weren’t many metal heads in my school but me so him and I bonded on a level not many teachers/leaders could at that time. We all still keep in touch. I miss it so much but would definitely never go back if given the chance. School is so much more brutal now than it was when I graduated.

Great reaction again! And thank you for the buying link. The album this song is from came out today! Every song is differently awesome. And they're some LONG songs, you get your money's worth! LOL

I recommend the band Babymetal, and their live performance of Rondo of Nightmare with the Mischiefs of Metal Gods intro.

So I made a short playlist without the YT URL included playlist?list=PLFwNbj3ipCh4p8Iy2AvMA1wMn6U2Jl1tM Rondo of Nightmare is a Suzuka solo song, the others have all three front women. I included a couple old performances, and then some newer performances. Babymetal is a fusion of Japanese pop and various genres of metal. They experiment a lot, infusing other genres into their mix, and none of their songs are the same. So one song will never allow a true grasp of the band.
