Aron is really super talented, he’s part of the arrangements and he writes some of Henriks bass tabs. It’s said that Henrik sometimes says “ Aron, this is too complicated” and Aron just says “Practice more” 😆😆 And he edits the videos. See the songs with Cory Wong, like “Folow the light” and cover of “Thriller”. They’ve recorded it in Stockholm and Minneapolis separately, but Aron put some much effort in making it seem like they’re in the same place.

So true as you said. "Music is supposed to be fun.." I dont come from a musical family. Ive just been in to amateur choir music. But I been luckily to been singin with some amazing talented people. Its been a blessing, but sometimes its been a struggle due to the self comparing with others so much more skilled than me. But then a voice teacher told me one thing. That I have carried in my heart ever since.. "Jonny, remember this. The forest would be awfully quiet, if only the best bird singed.." That let me have back the joy why I was actually singing. And frankly the basic thing why I been singing. Is cause of the healing therapy music and singing actually is. And that there and then brought my joy back. And that I could be happy on my low level of my music. And at the same be time better to aprichate others... Allways when I hear this great music and musicians from Sweden. I get so proud of all the amazing stuff that comes from this little country. Just wanted to share something..sry for bad english 35 years since studying:) Love from Stockholm Sweden/ J

@@bobcieslinski Yes . So important to firstly focus of the joy in music. And the joy of creating music together. Especially today with all social media. Young people tends to compare themselves all the times. That may take away the basic joy in why actually do music. "Let the the joy drive the skill forward..." Not the pressure to be the best. And also as for me. Theres a joy with music even if its not at a professional level. And its beutiful too.... And still people..The audience..love that and see that too... All the best once again friend. Love / J

if i remember correctly, while Henrik and Aron studied Jazz improv at the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm, Jonah majored in classical composition, which you can really hear in that gorgeous almost Late-Romantic section on the bridge. some of Aron's fills don't seem physically possible. really great drummers are just Built Different. you need to check out Sokoninaru. they're this level of musicianship with super dramatic prog rock.

Oh yeah and Jonah is also a very good drummer. He plays drums on several of his solo songs like "Coffee Break" and his cover of "Bad" which is very good. Hey just something to put down on your to do list. When you're ready to take a little step off the Loops path consider Jacob Collier's re-imagining of Lionel Richie's "All Night Long." I guarantee it will tickle all your musical bones. If you haven't heard this you are missing a modern musical wonder.

Since you are a wind instruments guy - please consider a review of the Cory Wong / Dirty Loops collab piece, "Turbo". Just a great instrumental funk tune. The tenor soloist will probably blow your mind...towards the end of his solo, he plays the same riff in 3 octaves, then stretches ever higher in the altissimo range. Appreciate your channel!

Jonah´s way of playing around on the piano after the main solo, just before the drum solo (around 10 minutes) gives my a Coltrane feeling. Like resolving the form, playing not exactly dissonant but like... Like calling out the complementary form, wasn´t that what Coltrane did too? My English language is too limited, does anyone get what I mean?

Watching this again made me think - The lights that are in the background of this video are the exact same lights on the Cory Wong songs. I know they recorded them in separate locations so I wonder if Cory and his team played with a green wall and the light background from DL location is what was used to screen the whole separate locations together. Just thinking...

Or, you could even go with their Merch video, even though it sort of is only advertising their t-shirts and hoodies, still worth watching and listening to!
