This band. Everything about them. I honestly can't describe the feeling they give me. nothing like anything else. I've had a really rough time lately. my cousin just assed away from cancer, at the age of 16. and it sucks. thats that. and listening to band of horses has just fixed me. or its helped to fix me. i dont know if ill ever be fixed, losing someone and having no way of dealing with it is really hard to reverse. but thank band of horses. you mean a lot.

I watch this this video once a month just to keep my head back in reality.

First heard this on The Magicians. It is so reminiscent of the style of folk rock magic as it had evovlved by the mid 1970s. I wish music could still be so real as it once was. I am and always have been for the production of music using technology, I myself having done so for a long time. However, I never saw it as something to replace or even revolutionize music. Even though my own work was entiely electronic based, I always strived for the parameters I used to sound as organice as they might if they actualy existed in reality. But that isn't the way it is done today. Perhaps that is why music doesn't change at all, and why we have been stuck in the same stylings for going on twenty years now. Quite a change from eras when popular music once changed dramatically every five to eight years.

2024. Still here.

My best friend was moving from Pennsylvannia(where i live) to Colorado springs, i didn't want him to make the drive alone so I went with him, this song along with "is there a ghost" will always remind me of the open road, being stranded because the car broken down four times, being completely helpless, and completely fucked, but for some reason being ok with everything in life.

I was fortunate to meet Ben and the rest of the band after a show in Knoxville a few months ago. They are such nice guys. I gave Ben a big hug and thanked him for everything!

Funkbobble - I don't understand why people do that? I'm sure the sound quality isn't very good. I just don't get it. It makes no sense whatsoever because most live performances can be found online. Wouldn't it be more of an enjoyable experience, after working a long day, to see them live and soak up the music into your soul like a sponge? Seriously, how often does one have the pleasure of catching these guys live? So when the opportunity arises you're going to squander it by watching them through your tiny cell phone? Not very bright.
