@@JuanSan66 Yeah Band Maid are very very Special. Just like Queen was or Led Zepplin or Deep Purple or Black Sabbath or Judas Priest i mean 1980 Judas Priest when they were at their Prime. I also always get Guns N Roses Vibes from Band Maid. Especially from the Songs Different, Dice and Blooming and Glory. Band Maid also remind me on the Hard Rock Songs of Mr Big. Misa s Bass Kanami guitar Playing remind me of 1991-1992 Paul Gilbert s Playing. MAYBE Kanami was a Fan as a Kid. But Band Maid are their own Genre Nothing Today can be compared to Band Maid

this song is insanity, progressive rock/metal while being chased by a machine gun/, that's what it feels like, I don't even know what to say but dust myself off and go for a 50mile run!
Form Japan. In their latest interview, they announced that they will be streaming live instead of canceling the Budokan live on February 11th. It is sure to become a live version of the new songs. They are not defeated by COVID-19. I am waiting for the official announcement.
This song is absolute fire 🔥. There are no weak songs on this album.
Thanks again for the analysis! The thing that amazes me is how a song as wild as No God can still be contained in a classic rock structure. And to the extent that they have included some prog rock elements and mind-bending ornaments, there still isn't a single note that lands outside the lines of that structure. That is just goddess-level songwriting.
Holy shit Band Maid is on fire.

@@TheChampOfMedium A number of Japanese metal bands do chaotic rhythms with sudden transitions between sections of the song, Maximum the Hormone comes to mind. (There are others I can't name off the top of my head.) That punkish core riff does sound like Motorhead. The crazy rhythmic lyrics, and jaunty shards in the verse and chorus sound a bit like Japanese techno with all sorts of bits and pieces thrown around. Unlike techno there isn't a dominant groove this is built around. Instead they are slamming it onto that core riff.
I just listened to the song like 15 minutes ago and I was totally caught offguard by how crazy, complex and instant-addicting it was. I almost couldn't believe this is the same Band Maid I have been listening to every album for years. As a fan I was naturally a bit nervous if their new album can still surprise me...and man they totally did.

In the not too distant future when asked about amazing bassists with one name, people will know MISA.... and vaguely remember the guy that played with band that sounds like hot sauce.
These is my favourite song of the album too.
The structure of this song reminds me more of the unpredictable-yet-cohesive feel of Maximum the Hormone. As much as it's a Motorhead tribute, it's also a reflection of how influential MtH has been on the band.
MisaMisaMisa said in their interview that this one was one of her favorites on the album(bass solo in 2nd part) and HGK is the other one.

Rock on dude.
Total eargasm. Masterpiece, one runs out of superlatives. Agree with you, that was fire or rather a fire tornado.
This whole album is just so good. God I love this band.
I'm generally not as much of a fan of their really fast tempo songs but this one hooked me from the first drum beat, took me along for an incredible ride with some amazing surprises thrown in as dessert. Wow. And yes, MISA and Alkane have to be one of rock's best rhythm sections not to ignore the unbelievable talent of the rest of the band. Once upon a time a little pigeon in Japan had a dream and who could have guessed that this would be the result.
"No God?" OMG!!
Your going to go nuts when you listen to Blackhole. It's like the band as a whole literally play with time it's self within their music. Akane said it was the most challenging track for her to play and can't wait to play it live.

Best song on the album, complete MISA showcase even if the solo wasnt even included. The transitions from solo to bridge to chorus is just absolutely phenomenal. Great main riff, MISA/Akane going off whole song along with the solos, yet somehow the clean guitar with Saiki vocals is my favorite part.
The insane thing is how Misa is cutting through all that chaos, you can actually hear her right through the insanity, including bloody Akane-47 just machine-gunning throughout this thing.

what more could a band maid fan want ... hooks, catchy chorus, misa solo, akane craziness and saiki falsetto's
I listen to all their songs on this album and they are all amazing. Band Maid are special. Hard to pick a favorite but “Chemical Reaction” blew me away. It may take a month or more to find a favorite.
After realizing what you've done. I wanna say these words back to you, you're doing God's work man.
The whole album is pretty much a metafest!!
Kanami mentioned in a recent interview that covid19 lockdowns has turned her into a "riff machine". Akane, Misa as well, also mentioned they took this period as a unique opportunity to work on their current "lackings" in drums and bass. Miku Kobato spoke about how this forced idle times without concerts has given her the opportunity to write many songs lyrics. Saiki did not say much, but all the fans can hear the significant vocal improvement she went through over the last year. The whole band worked at improving their playing cohesion. So this albuml is truly excellent. I must admit I was slightly concerned following the issue of Conqueror in which I saw a transition album, hoping our beloved ladies were not somewhat loosing their incredible creativity momemtum. I am fully reassured now and even thinking a better Band-Maid is just coming ahead.

Dear god! I'm going to need a crash team after listening to their next released track.
you can feel it with this song - it's one of the most "audience interaction" songs on this album, "Freedom 2.0". B-M writes all their songs with live-performances in mind, all of them* But this one stands out as the one of the most singing-along ones on this album. That's a catchy, very poppy chorus, damn.... The MISA solo is just made in mind with MISA in the middle, spotlight on her (Miku even screams "Get Down!"), so I think they would move all to the sides, giving her that spot just for her, accompanied by audience "MISA MISA MISA" chants, they know their audience by now :). And I also think they will play an "extended" part here. But I absolutely love - LOVE - the transition right after to as well as Saikis singing part after the bass-solo, with Miku joining in a couple seconds later. It's soo well done. * I'm happy af with this album! And I really look forward to see them perform these songs live. How, I mean HOW are they going to make that work?! Akane must have doubled/trippled her amount of food, the calories she's burning here XD Given their record up to this point - almost everytime better live, throwing some changes/adjustments here and there just for giggles, and making it even more awesome in the process - we all know, that they WILL pull it off. - just HOW ?! this whole album is nuts XD

Thankyou for helping me not miss stuff. I'm waiting on my physical discs to arrive (i'm old school, it's not real unless it's real), so this is my first time hearing it. There is so much to take in! I'm listening to one part then realise i just missed a whole riff.
They keep inventing new things, it's insane. And since the death of Neil Peart, Akane and Misa are easily the best back line in the world.

The girls sound much mature and creative now. They have put aside some of their pop sound in favor of bring elements of math rock, progressive an even speed metal, not a surprise cosidering Kanami's persona, but what impresses me the most is the solidity of Saiki, she is without a doubt the cornerstone of this ensemble... but I'm not sure if the change is good or they are spoiling their formula, only time will tell.👍
