I've watched about 10 reviews of this song,so far,and the more I hear it,the more I love it.

When the single is on sale I intend to buy three copies: one for me and the other two I will send them to my local radio station. On the bottom of the envelope I will write in ORANGE letters "Co-written by Mike Einziger of Incubus please listen".

I sent a couple messages requesting it from the local rock station. The same station that hosted pointfest where incubus and band-maid both played and met last year. If they don't play it, I don't know who will.

I love MISA's playing. Her bass tone is setting a new standard... and Akane's drumming is so distinguishable... and Kanami's solo... ahhhh! The recording and mix is good, too! Miku's lyrics are heartfelt. "I can't look into your eyes." Is Saiki her bestie? But Saiki masterfully delivers her lyrics, as always. BTW - The volume of lyrics and nuanced melodies she's committed to memory over the years is simply mind-blowing! Mikey did good at giving them his direction for the song, and probably helped with the English lyrics -- a good growth for Miku's craft. I don't understand why Kanami said she couldn't have come up with the main riff. Probably just her being super polite, as usual. I like the groove and feel of the song. I was waiting for, "I don't give a f**k" at the end. But maybe with these particular "Bestie" lyrics, that wouldn't be such a good idea. Even though at first listen it felt on par with Start Over It will undoubtedly do what every Band-Maid song does -- grow on you! Got to break through to the mainstream market with a few cuts, right? Hopefully Bestie helps with that! Thx, Band-Maid! And thanks, BG!

What a wonderful song!!!!! The Maids do it again. Thanks to Mike Einzinger for composing this gem and letting the ladies run with it. I don't know if it will happen, but I would love for this song to get serious airplay on rock radio. They need more exposure in the U.S. and radio could be the medium to do that.

Give it a half dozens listens and it will get stuck in your head.

Memorable/Endless Story were written out of love for the fans. Bestie was written to let the fans know how they feel about each other. Having one bestie your entire life is amazing, having five is ineffable. This song, quite possibly, could go viral on the "graduation" playlist, much like Unwritten. Thanks for your perspective. The lyrics were by Miku, however the music was co-written by Mike and Band-Maid. He didn't write it for them, it was a team effort. It's beautiful, thank you Mikey-chan!

Feeling good summer Groove Love it!

It really is a song that the more I play the more I like it. First thing that hit me were the lyrics and the Akane drums driving the song. Saiki is brilliant but it took me a few plays before I began to feel warm and cozy and happy that this is Band Maid.

I want at least 3 more verses. I think this song needs to be about 5 minutes long. It reminds me of the old Seattle Pop-Punk Scene and Letters to Cleo. I am hoping they put together an alternate version for concerts, making it longer with a few extra verses.

Je suis un grand fan de BM, mais pour moi cette chanson est un peu trop tranquille. Pour moi il n'y a pas réellement de surprise en l'écoutant. Certes, on retrouve les prouesses de Misa (c'est ce qui fait la signature de BM, la prépondérance de la basse), mais il manque quelque chose, un petit grain de folie ... Sinon la chanson est quand même bien. Elle est bien plus écoutable sur les radios que les autres chansons de BM (C'est peut être ce que je lui reproche au fond, elle rentre un peu trop facilement dans le moule).

Great reaction BG. Unless we are talking about cadence, I personally don't get the criticism of Saiki. Generally 80% of their songs are in Japanese, and most people understand those lyrics less than these.

Agree. Kinda mid-tier Band Maid. Still great. Sounds a bit like Daydreaming?
